could beamng have a ‘laptop’ graphics edition?? So that laptops such as mine (windows surface pro 6) could run it? Removing grass and trees could help performance... it would be good for something like that to be created.

My laptop can run east coast at around 20 FPS with lowest settings and lighting on low. But it looks pretty good and fun, lags sometimes.

The current lowest graphics setting is already low. Other conskderations are disabling collisions and making sure your.... tablet... is getting enough cooling.

At the end of the day, a surface pro 6 is only going to get you so far though. I have an ASUS Q550LF from 2014, I've seen them refurbished for around $200. It certainly isn't up to playing new games, but it handles older games and well optimized games very well. Of course, there is a reason I plan on getting a proper gaming set up soon.

The game already can run on systems way worse than the minimum specs. I have a laptop with a dual core i7 and Intel 620 graphics and when I tried to run it at the absolute lowest settings I could manage 20-30 fps depending on the map. If you really want to run the game well then spent the money on an entry level gaming PC or a laptop with a dedicated graphics card and a quad core CPU.

I mean... Yeah... Mobile devices tend to have severe thermal throttling after a few mn of gaming, even full on gaming computers. That's why they sell cooling pads and all. It makes for a good way to catch people playing videogames on their laptops in school, most laptops will sound like a vacuum after awhile.

My laptop has intel turboboost or whatever they call it, if it runs cool the CPU runs way faster. There are games that I can only get playable FPS if the temps are low.

Devices made to be small never care about thermals or dissipating heat of its parts. That's one of the reasons why they are never made for gaming or hardcore usage.
