    I know right lol I think im going to upgrade to a 6800k and 8gb ddr3 1866mhz. ram but idk might just throw in a gpu. Clocked as high as it is the cpu's still got a lot to offer lol. Im going to college soon though so upgrades have to wait. I purchased an ASUS K55N-db81 laptop upgraded it from 6gb to 8gb of ram. It has an amd a8-4500m 1.9ghz-2.8 turbo apu runs everything pretty well lol. except for beaming it gets 20fps. im hoping with the race update it improves a bit. if I take the doors off of the cars I get 30-35fps :)

    After reading what Rageshade and Stormdrain had to say, I have decided to go with the 760k. I also read some reviews and it seems like the best option, especially because it like 30$ less.

    Here is an updated and most likely final list:

    Get a dual channel ram, it will perform better and latency will be lower.

    I would but I plan on upgrading this computer later so, I think I will stick with one stick and only fill half the ram slots

    I have 16gb of ram and with After Effects, Premeire Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Cinema 4d, 3ds Max, LOL, Skype, Foobar2000, 40+ tabs open in chrome and other program all running at once, I am only using 5.3gb of ram. You will never need more than 8gb of RAM.

    Hmm, I seem to notice this too when I am checking my ram usage. I use only 3 GB tops of my DDR2.

    What 2 x 4 Ram do you recommend?

    6670 = ):

    Unless you buy an a8 or a10, which i think you can crossfire the iGPU with a 6670

    I really could do with more RAM. If you plan to do any java (Even minecraft hosting) you will want more than 8GB. I personally think 16GB is a bit small for my needs, but 32GB costs so much. D:
    Also you want 1600Mhz+ RAM when you upgrade.

    760k/750 Ti build. All really good brands, at a surprisingly good price.

    Plus no 6670, or bigger than necessary PSU. Plus EVGA PSUs practically never die from what ive heard.

    This pic sums up why the 750 Ti is better. Also because it isnt 3 years old...

    I'm new in this conversation, sorry if I have missed anything. I have a HD 6670 (1GB DDR5) and a Phenom II X4 840 and I can run it at medium-high at 30-40 FPS on most maps and most cars. It cost $600 in 2009 and would probably cost all in (now) around $450-$500. Unfortunately it only has 4GB Ram, and a Motherboard that has broken twice, some sort of Foxconn, but if you want a PC on a budget, give something like that a try.

    I doubt that it would cost 500$ now.
