That feeling when you put in a personal best on a section of trail, only to find that Danny Heart* did it twice as fast xD *(he's a local professional rider)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleipner_gas_field#Carbon_capture_and_storage_project Problem fucking solved. These things are going to be very profitable once international carbon credit treaties are implemented - entire corporations will spring up to take advantage. As for methane, just burn it off at the source. Use catalytic converters.
Nope, not solving the problem, brushing it under the bed. Also highly ineffective on a much larger scale, the maths has been done, you can't get enough atmospheric air past the things in a reasonable time frame
Less technology not advancing, more, you've got to physically move the atmosphere. Of course the atmosphere already moves, it's called wind, you need more of it, much more, want to make 150mph winds globally?
Obviously carbon capture is only part of the solution, but it is an important one. If CCS becomes profitable and enough plants are built, the effect will become significant.
Picked up my new Martin yesterday. Red Martin makes a nice pair with the blue burst HSS strat (my phone camera does not get along with the finish on the strat. Just take my word for it, it's a really beautiful blue burst)
Rant time I've been on the road a lot this summer for work, and the food situation is really killing me... Being that it's more difficult to store leftovers, I've been more aware of how much I eat in one sitting. I admit that I am a fairly small person, average height and bottom percentile for weight, but I am also very physically active. I usually ask for a half portion of an appetizer or entree and nothing else. Even with only asking for half size portions, I'm still usually only able to eat half of what I get... Certanly feel guilty wasting this much food, but places usually refuse to let me order a kids meal. It's also super expensive. I'm a college student in NYC and I rarely pay more than $3-$7 dollars per meal; there's three of us and it isn't unusual to pay $45/meal for all of us. Edit: Just got a bacon egg and cheese sandwhich at Waffle House (on the white bread toast). It was actually really good. Sure it isn't an NYC street cart sandwhich, but the fact that I actually found something here other than the hamburgers that I like genuinly put a smile on my face, being that I'll probably be eating a lot of them until this trip is over.
woah im kinda spooked at the notification i got on a YT video. I dont recall ever watching it, nor commenting on it. the comment is way out of my style too. the video is a reddit post reading thing (the robot voice dude) and the topic was "People Who Were 1 in a Million Share Their Stories" and this was "my" comment: "I’m on the donor registry. I hope you find your match soon. 3" here's the link. my YT name is Blueginge 123 am i rightfully scared or am i overreacting? (i have no super personal things on my gaming rig, it is not attaching to banking info, etc) --- Post updated --- update 1: deleted the comment. looking into it further/ running virus scan etc
