It would be awesome if the devs would look into creating a BeamNG version of the different Tesla models. I am a huge Tesla fan and would love to see something like them in the game. (This is my first thread so I have no idea what I am doing... lol)
I guess you don't know how long it takes to make a car for beamng. There's a reason why we don't get (several) new official cars in Beamng updates. Very few people would be satisfied if all they would get for few years were beamng versions of Teslas. I'm completely satisfied with the esbr, but then again I'm not a fan of electric cars.
Well it would be fairly easy to make them because they pretty much just look like different scale versions of each other, especially the model 3 and Y
My question though, is which Tesla would be used as the basis for the EV? Most likely if it was left up to me, I'd probably settle with the Model X as the primary basis, one reason being its signature gullwing doors, and currently BeamNG lacks gullwings. Plus, BeamNG does have plenty of sedans, and the Model X is an SUV, which AFAIK, the Gavril Roamer is currently the only official SUV. So, having an official EV based on the Model X would take out two** birds with one stone: A new official SUV, and the first official vehicle with gullwings. ** Three if you count it being the first full fledged EV that isn't based on a preexisting ICE vehicle. I think you have a point there. The Model 3 and Y does look very much alike. Did you mean Falkrum?

No, it's not. It is not an electric platform, it is the SBR platform, which is an ICE car. Hence why the batteries are in the transmission tunnel, not laid flat like a dedicated electric platform would have.
