Yes, looks like it was the low height that makes it look odd. Otherwise the proportions are ok. It gets hard to fit a driver in a reasonable position in the car when roof height is under 1 meter. Only a few cm of ground clearance would be a problem on normal roads, and even more on BeamNG's rough roads. Even if it doesn't bottom out, the suspension needs some space to work so it doesn't just skip over bumps.
Hopefully it will eventually be possible to change the ride hight while driving, like in many modern sports cars. That way you have a low car for racing, and can raise the suspension for some extra clearance to get past those damn speed bumps which appear everywhere nowadays.
I do fictional because I can't do real. I've tried but I lose interest. Fictional has no limits (almost). Update: Race diffuser and straight pipes for a race version. There's a long list of other changes I'll cover later.
