love the update, cab is still a bit tough, windshield is as you said fixed, overall the handling feels good! parts definitely feel a bit tough though. Keep up the great work FY2S!

Mind you node grabber isn't the best way to evaluate panel strength. For me, cab breaks fine on the impacting side during rollovers.

I found that out during today's session, which I did roll the truck a few times to test it and while I could still lift it up it was definitely weakened, I'd still say it needs a little less strength, I still haven't noticed anything else

Also I feel like the wheel axle/axles, four length bars and tierods need to be significantly strengthened because they break way too easy.

I mean I push the truck pretty hard and it seems as long as you land flat you're usually good, granted I do miss being able to break the rear steering with the node grabber and not have a wheel fall off in the process, but I think the brakes being on combined with it landing on 1 wheel was enough to break the 4 link

EDIT: too lazy to change it but this is a second video, I was referring to the one you posted a few days ago somewhere else, yeah a 4 link would break in that situation in real life, if not then it's badly bent and since the 4 link mesh can't really bend it just breaks, it would be cool to have bendable 4 link bars but I don't think BeamNG will allow it, last I heard Beam hates deformable tubular structures so we just have them break to simulate a bend, really the closest we got, at least I think I read that somewhere, don't quote me on the deformable tubular structures part though, the suspension isn't really designed to take a landing like that, at that angle the shock isn't doing anything so the 4 link absorbs the impact instead, kind of surprised the spindle held up to that

I agree with you there but the point is that almost every single time I make my first "normal" jump in freestyle it breaks the truck right of the bat and it shouldn't do that it should be kind of like steel titans where it breaks over time but not right of the bat like it does.
    --- Post updated ---
I'm just not sure why it would break so easily like in the first video I posted on this subject? It just doesn't make sense. It should be able to break over time but not right off of the first jump!

Ok first this isnt steel titans and two a monster truck in real life can break after one jump. It's happened plenty of times throughout the years. If they land just a tiny bit in a weird way the truck may break but not in a huge way. I have broken on the first jump more than once with the updated mod. It all depends on how you take the ramp and how you land. Not trying to be mean just got a little annoyed seeing that you want to try and have the damage be compared to steel titans, which isnt as realistic as beamng.

Not always true because 1: You can't make everything be realistic in a video game it just isn't possible but you can make some things like this wonderful mod realistic! I'm just suggesting this not comparing anything and 2: Don't get mad just because some is suggesting this idea because you only want realism which isn't how life works!

Also I think the chassis is the same when it was updated, which means the strength of the wheel hubs and how they break should be the same. The only thing that has happened, and plz correct me if I'm wrong, is that the F150 body has been placed on the CRD chassis. But back on topic the body seems to break well when I roll over, but when I land on the roof and use the node grabber to roll back over to continue testing the roof doesnt really looked damaged by much nor doesnt seem to be loose.

Also The Monster Jam: Steel Titans developers actually did say that they were going to cater to both arcade style fans and realistic style fans and yes there are some realistic elements in steel titans. Yeah sure not everything is realistic but like I said you can't make everything realistic in a video game because 1: You could easily overstress the hardware and software and cause it to burn up and 2: the game also may not look as fantastic as the fans want it to be.

Yes I do, I watched the interview with the development team and they discussed this info in the interview! and I know that the hardware can be overstressed because again I've worked with hardware and software development with multiple companies! So yes, I know what I'm talking about so don't tell me otherwise because I don't want to hear it! Good night!

the wheel hubs really seem weak in 1 circumstance only and that's if the rear kicks over like this and veers to one side, digging the rear wheel into the ground, but making the rear wheels strong enough to survive that makes them not break off pretty much at all unless you slam into a wall, it's hard to show with screenshots and the node grabber but I can't replicate it on video when I actually want this to happen so I have to hope this is enough, not really a big problem, sometimes you can get away with it but 95% of the time digging the rear wheel into the ground at this angle will break it, it holds up for the most part under any other circumstance, again fixing this would make the wheel hubs never break off jumps
