Hello and welcome to the the BHRA Drag Racing Championship, below there will be a list of rules, how the championship works, the classes of cars allowed, and what to look forward to in the future!

    How it works:

There will be a two week lead time before the first round of races begin, you can use the two weeks until the first round to test your vehicle and register it, once the vehicle is registered, you may not alter any high output mods, such as higher nitrous shots, better superchargers, changing the gear ratios, etc. You may tune suspension, tire pressures, and weight distribution while in the "paddock" after registration. No last minute changes are allowed, if you wish to register two or more vehicles, message the race lead (Dr. Balbarian) to get an okay. ASK QUESTIONS! Do not be afraid to ask questions, I hold the right to kick you out of the competition for any violation, if you are at all confused or want to clarify, ASK! The races will be based as essentially a 1/4 mile time trial event.

    Where:
The track to use is the Austrian Drag Strip by TheGameLix2

    Rules:

    1. No Automation vehicles allowed.
    2. Indestructible engine block mods are prohibited.
    3. Super radiators are prohibited.
    4. All cars under 9.50 or faster than 135 mph require rollcages.
    5. Every convertible vehicle requires a rollbar.
    6. Nitrous Oxide is permitted, shot size should be kept below 450.

    Drag Racing Classes:

    Pro Stock

"Factory Hot Rods" which have a resemblance to production based models, Pro Stock cars are technologically advanced machines which are built around a tube chassis with four link rear suspension, Pro Stock cars must conform to the minimum weight of 2,300 lbs, the engine is restricted to no more than 500 cubic inches.

    Super Stock
Super Stock vehicles may look like any ordinary vehicle, but have been highly modified into race cars. These cars are permitted to have significant engine mods, but the vehicle must retain the factory engine block, cylinder heads, and carburetor or EFi system. Breakout rules are enforced.

    Stock
Stock vehicles are strictly enforced when it comes to any mods. The car must retain the full factory interior, may not use slicks, the engines must have the stock block, heads, with only light performance advantages, carbs or EFi systems can be upgraded. Nitrous is prohibited in this class.

    Extra Info:
Mods in which give you more tuning options in the motor are allowed, but do state this when registering. All vehicle mods are allowed, just as stated in the rules, Automation cars are prohibited, along with indestructible engine blocks and super radiators. Controllers, keyboards, and steering wheels are allowed, depending on how many we have in each class, I will try to balance the board as best as possible.

    Registration:
Below will be an example of how to fill out the registration form.

    Name: Doc
    Car (Make, Model): Hirochi Prasu
Car Mods: Upgraded Block, stage 3 turbo, 315 Radial slicks, 2 speed powerglide.
    Car Class: Pro Stock
Reg. ID#: 13 (Delete this bracket: Preferred car number)
    Photo of Car: [Image]

Registration ends for the first round on August 3rd, at 10pm EST.

    Times:

    Pro Stock

    [TBA]

    Street Stock

    [TBA]

    Stock

    [TBA]

Do feel free to talk and mingle among yourselves, also feel free to share drag times with cars you may drive not registered in the competition. This is a proof of concept, I hope to make this work.

We are getting the track setup, and allowing all, racers and spectators alike, to come by any day to test and tune at the track! Watch out for those pesky cops though, they like to show off how fast their cars are.

Oops. Forgot to add that. The idea will be run on a time trial system. Basically, you use the quick race and set the drag strip as the map and this will allow you to run the config of your build, and you will post a screenshot of your time after the run. It's all based on best times. Since we obviously don't have the fun of multiplayer, we can't really do drag racing properly, so I figured this proof of concept will determine if it is even possible!

Will the races be on Saturdays? If yes, it's OK. If not, remember that on Sundays USRRA Challenge Cup races take part.

Yes, you can use any car you like so long as it isn't from Automation, and follows the rules of the class it is in.

Yes, the races take place on Friday nights and Sautrdays, we don't want to steal your thunder!

I forgot that was still in the post, I am not worried about needing a download file, unless I feel your times are a bit unrealistic. If that's the case I will dm the person and give instructions on how to send me the file.

I do not race your car, nor do I need it, you will be the one to do the quick race on the Austrian Dragstrip, you then will post a screenshot of your best time. But only after registration has closed and I announce when or if we will even be able to hold the races.

You can compete in any of the classes with however many cars you want. But i will say keep it reasonable, like don't put 10 cars in, but if you want to run 3-5 cars in different classes, that's fine.
