how do i open jbeam files with note pad

Ive seen people do it but it always opens with internet explorer for me I have note pad installed im just not sure how to change it so that it open jbeam files with notepad. Thanks in advance

 

right click the file and click "open with"
also, i'd recommend notepad++

 

That makes sense but i dont get an option to open with.

 

You need to unpack the mod or extract the files first.
