Update Speculation thread

well the italy and the piccolina teasers released on seprate days so we'll have to wait and see.

Although if we don't get it I wouldn't mind, the map upgrades on their own are worth it!

Together with the map upgrades and Better PostFX, Beam would be a piece of art.

East Coast has always been my n.1 map for freeroaming even after West Coast and Italy came out. I just love it and all the small quirks/secret trials it has, the fast outer road and the bumpy country roads. Now that it'll be remastered I'll probably spend 20 hours just by exploring it at the finest detail.
Hirochi Raceway is now more well fitted in the surroundigs with the state road outside, I'm glad they added it.
There is one more "legacy" map they didn't tease but would be nice to see remastered: Small island. Probably is not at the top of their remodeling/retexturing list, but I'm excited to see whether it will be updatedand how much it will be better.
In any case, many props to the map team!

 

The beamng twitter account just mentioned that only ecusa hirochi and derby will be updated

 

Remember, we have only seen HALF of the confirmed upgrades. We still have not seen Small Island, Port, or Industrial Site, and JRI could come out of the woodwork at the last minute for all we know.

I would expect either a second map upgrades trailer or the Bluebuck trailer tomorrow. (although we might get the entire update tomorrow, who knows?)

 

O Dear!, this game is the one gives me the more hype, every update is a hype!... Just feel the same but different with Cyberpunk!!!

I believe the Italy video was released a couple days before the update with the Piccolina video the day before.

 

Italy trailer was 3 days before the update and the Piccolina trailer was 2 days before the update.

 

which means, that to really prove this theory, we would have to get a bluebuck trailer tomorrow (probably galivanting around ECUSA or one of the other newly refreshed maps, like the piccolina did in italy), and then an update the following day... or maybe this is just a trailer, a TEASER TRAILER! thanks for watching

The update is definitely coming out tomorrow because the BeamNG team knows my schedule and that I won't be able even breathe on my computer this weekend.

 

If that was the case we'd have the update on Saturday. I don't believe updates are usually released on weekends.

 

does anyone have that old update chart? i don't recall them ever releasing on a saturday but i'd like to be sure, for no reason other than sheer curiosity
