Update Speculation thread

I told ya all guys it was not happening today. My ETA for the update is around mid next week at the earliest.

 

I know this update's a huge one, but it seems like it's taking a long time. I really was expecting it today, but oh well.

 

Im just as excited as you are man... but the thing is, the more anxious you get, the longer it will take to happen.

 

Developers every time this sort of thing happens.

 

Not out today. Well lets say they are ( maybe ) Working on the Bulebuck to finish it off AKA Worth the wait.

 

everyone gets super hyped but judging that that dude used past tense the remaster is done and it's in its final stages

 

The thing is a sneak peek before 0.16 update but no sneak peek before 0.17 at this time.

 

tdev, I fixed a lawn mower today. I am entitled to this update.

Please provide me with the files within 15 minutes, or I'll sue.

Going back to the "All have been remade", i think he is talking about the vegetation. it would make sense, vegetation is what he works on, and also that is what he was talking about. Also, in the trailer for the remastered maps, the vegetation looks nothing like how it is now. The colors, the trees, flowers, and even the dirt and pavement road texture.

 

Well, it's kind of a bummer that we got no update yesterday, but I get it. I think it's basically guaranteed we won't get something on the weekend, I'm hoping for early or mid next week for release.

 

Do you think West Coast USA should be revamped too?

 

Yeah, probably next week if we're lucky. I'm hoping for the 16th.

WCA is still quite new, the features which seem to be used in the remastering I think we're learnt in the making of WCA and Italy, what should (but won't) be remastered is Dry Rock Island, I think it's a nicer map than Jungle Rock Island.

 

I wonder if there will be a new car... I know it only showed the maps...

 

Hey, here's something I bet most people have never thought about.

Gearbox and differential thermals. I wonder if they're planning on adding those at any point?

 

I want oil pressure. I feel like that could be fun.

i wonder, we might not get the bluebuck in the next update, remember, we all thought that the AB was done after the august 3rd teaser, and it ended up coming out for 0.15. It does look close to competition, but since we have not received a teaser, i’m kind of sceptical

 

I mean, if they are changing the textures/water... Won't it carry over to the other maps??
