Legran would make sense as a police car, but the wendover is a little more iffy. For a full-size 80s car that can be used in both police work and derbies I would rather see something RWD and V8
Yes the Wendover is a full size car, but it is not the kind of car that would be used for police work. Its too luxurious and too underpowered for that kind of work. --- Post updated --- Those examples make no sense at all compared to the source material that is going to be used for the Wendover. None of those cars reassemble anything like the Wendover. Again, its a W-Body car. Late 80's early 90's. Not late 70's.
Honestly I kind of imagine the Wendover as an E-Body car. At the time they weren't considered underpowered, but vehicles like the Buick Riviera/Reatta were too expensive and not as cheap to fix as a body on frame car. Personal Luxury Coupes also don't have a lot of trunk space or room for prisoners because they are two doors and often had no rear seats.
So is the update, when it is released, more likely to drop during work hours (09:00 - 17:00 CEST) or post-work (17:00- 22:00)?
What I mean is when it's ready, it's not like they just go, "Oh, it's done, release it!". They'll probably release it around a set time, would that time more likely be working hours, or post work? I hope I've explained myself better.
So then if I'm all the way back here in Alaska, it'll probably be out before I'm up in the morning. --- Post updated --- @Any Dev, is anyone willing to spoil how many "factory" (non-modified) configs the Bluebuck will have at release? It involves the hypothetical video series I mentioned before, and a random number generator.
The stated policy used to be "one car, one body style," but the Bluebuck contradicts that. Plus, they are remaking most of the earlier cars' models, so it's not out of the question. Likely initial candidates for variants are the Burnside and ETK 800. The Burnside will likely get a coupe (hardtop or pillared) to match the Bluebuck, while the ETK will probably get a sedan. Personally, I would like to see official sedan and wagon models of the Moonhawk. (It is also possible that the Soliad Wendover will have both sedan and coupe variants, as opposed to just a coupe, but I do not consider this likely.)
A sedan Wendover would be cool, but we'll just wait and see. An ETK sedan could be coming in this update, maybe like a little surprise
Imo the car that needs a sedan body the most now is the Moonhawk since it opens up a lot of possibilities. As for wagons the grand marshal and Legran definitely need one (as well as the Bluebuck). But I doubt we will see any of these in the update and even with the multiple Bluebuck body styles now I don’t expect them to come for at least a little while.
