Can you allocate more ram to beamNG drive?

I have 8 gigs of ram but I don't know how much beamng is using. I'd like to allocate more ram as my game lags when ever I have more than 2 vehicle and the new traffic feature has really peeked my interest in this game again. Any suggestions help

Well usually your CPU is what controls how many cars you can run, so for example if you have a 4 core CPU, you can usually run 4 cars.

I have 4 physical cores and i can still get 3 total cars, sorry if I wasn't clear i said 2 cars but i meant 2 additional cars. When I play beamng i don't have any other applications open but still get heavy fps drops.

The game takes all the memory it needs (until you run out of free memory that is), so you can't "increase" that in any way. If you get bad performance and still have available memory, then that's really not the cause.
