So all the parts for my Bluebuck's new engine have been delivered by now and I picked up the DCOE carbs from the Gabeslist seller's house. I got up early this morning and assembled the whole engine (I've built one or two at my parents' house before so I can put one together pretty quickly), in the bed of my truck because I'm too ignorant to buy an engine stand. I'm hoping to drop the engine into the car as soon as my friend brings his cherry picker over to drop it in with. I'm doubtful I'll get any further than that though so I'll have to wait until tomorrow or the next day in order to hear it run. And just like that the engine is in! I had just enough motivation to hook up the driveshaft too.
That must be him. *Opens hood of truck and connects jumper cables at both ends* Me: Alright, give it a shot! Brien: *Turns key* Nothing. Me: *Wiggles clamps on battery terminals* Try it now. *Covet reluctantly fires up, all while belching smoke out of the 7 different exhaust leaks on the exhaust manifold* Brien: There we go! Thanks man. Me: No problem *Shuts hood of Covet* You should be good to go now unless you need anything else.
"Yeah, sure! I'd love to!" After a fun night out, I said goodbye to my pal and began the dark drive home. A black ETK with no lights except the running lights and interior dome lights on swings around the corner. The driver grabs a gun, and leans out the window. It was a spur of the moment decision. I brought my gun with me when I left Belasco. I told nobody about it. A fired one or two shots at the speeding car, aimed towards the drivers' side window and windshield. The driver slumped over when one of the shots hit, and there was a sickening screech as the car slid into a ditch, and back up onto a field. I threw open my car door, and, gun in hand, ran over to investigate. It was no use. The driver was clearly dead. I jump back in my car and peel off. I make a frantic phone call to @98crownvic "Some guy in a black ETK just tried to shoot at me. He was going about 60 round a corner. Whipped out a gun, aimed it at me, but I shot him before he did. It's probably related to our... previous... line of work. Meet me at my house. We gotta talk." I hang up, toss my phone into a cupholder and floor it.
You have some intresting stories, How about tomorrow you fly out to Italy to my villa and I can interview you for my beamtube channel with over 5 million subscribers. I will pay for the entire trip!
Yeah, I'll see you around. *Gunshots, along with the sound of a crashing car sound in the distance* What the hell was that!? *I floor it in my Covet and it reluctantly starts heading towards the sound*
Somebody just stole my car, I couldn't chase them as that was my only car except for the company vehicle. If you guys see one of the two cars please report it to the police and follow them as I just cant lose my dad's old Bluebuck RS to some shady ring of east coast chop shop's -- Photo's were taken with my security camera system --
-Back inside my house- *Hears a loud boom followed by tires squealing* Well, that was either an extremely unlikely drive-by shooting in a small town were everyone is generally friendly to each other, or it was some typical teenagers doing typical teenager stuff...
Excuse me? I'm an ex FBI agent, who's currently being hunted by the hired goons of a terrorist who was assasinated six months ago. I have... better things to do. I might stop by sometime, however. "Hey, that's Brien_w!" I think as the green Covet pulls up. I back up my car and head back to the scene.
"Hey, what's popping?" I ask as he gets out of the car. we shake hands, then he asks me what happened. "This dude was going about sixty, yanked the parking brake on that corner over ther and whipped out a gun. He was going to shoot me, as it was aimed towards the driver's side of my car, but I shot him before he could shoot me. Then he just... swerved." I pause, and then say: "Hey, you want to investigate? This is probably me just jumping to conclusions, but I have a bad feeling he's related to Parker some way or another. We can probably find some paperwork in there or something."
- Couple hours later - Cops found the car, and the car jackers. But I think my Bluebuck is totaled The police said that they were trying to pull them over for speeding but they took off and the Blackfoot driver lost control causing him to spin out, and then the Bluebuck ramming him due to no room to stop. I'm pressing charges against the car jackers and suing for damages made against me and the car itself nonetheless them trespassing onto my property and being caught on video. Dumb@%!#% these days. as if right now their insurance is paying for everything and even booked me a rental car for the time being. It's not really fancy or cool though...
