"GPU Not Responding" error and crash caused by resetting car

For some reason, whenever i reset my car after the 0.17 update, the game crashes and says "GPU Not Responding". I have tried clearing the cache, deleting everything in the BeamNG.drive folder in documents, and lowering graphics down to the lowest setting. No matter what, whenever I reset my car, the game crashes and says the same error.

 

what graphics hardware are you using? is it a dedicated gpu or an integrated one? if it says Intel under GPU, it's integrated. have you tried verifying the game integrity through steam or updating your graphics driver? Is your GPU overheating?

 

Yeah, I've been having the same issue and it's incredibly annoying. When I first updated, the game would crash ~15 seconds after loading a map, but by removing some mods and clearing the cache I've fixed this. Then after all that, I discovered this new issue with vehicle recovery.
