Reseting the car now makes the game crash.

Ever since the 0.17 update, resetting the car causes the game to crash stating that the Gpu is not responding. I didn't have that problem in the 0.16 version of the game. I can't even do drag racing in WCUSA without the game crashing. So now I can't enjoy the update without the game crashing. I did buy the game from steam.

I tried
Verify the files
Clearing the cache
Disabled the mods
Clean reinstalling the game
Change the setting the lowest
Getting rid other applications

Yet none of these work.

Some laptop specs if you were going ask.

Intel core I5-8265U 1.60 GHz 4 cores
8 GB DDR4
Intel UHD 620
Window 10 Home
Not the best but it could run 3 cars in the tennessee map but it can't run italy at a smooth frame rate (Not that it matters I got italy Lite)
I also insert some logs to make things easier. (Which I hope appears)

Same here, I even reset my entire laptop to factory setting thinkin that there may be something wrong with it

I found that if you clone the car youre playing with instead of resetting it wont crash

 

You shouldnt have to do that for the game to work. From what ive seen today it seems like its an issue with the game. So im hoping the devs can find a solution

Same, Shift+R seems to work fine for Me.

 

as stated before though, you shouldn't have to do that. we need to let the devs know.

 

Yeah, I've been having the same issue and it's incredibly annoying. When I first updated, the game would crash ~15 seconds after loading a map, but by removing some mods and clearing the cache I've fixed this. Then after all that, I discovered this new issue with vehicle recovery.

This issue seems quite widespread - there are tons of other forums discussing it.

 

I rolled back my driver to the last version, and everything seems fine. There was one small graphical glitch, where a black shape flashed for a second in the top right corner of the screen, but that was it. Resetting the vehicle or physics now causes no crash.

 

Phew! glad to see that this bug is getting fixed!
(also I have no technical knowhow so I don't know what any of this driver stuff is or how to do it )

 

It is exacly the same on my PC (I have a shitty Intel HD Graphics 630) .
