    This is just a question
Should beamng developers make there own official flying vehicle like an helicopter or a plane officially made by the developers.

Pretty sure it’s been confirmed that this won’t happen.

The purpose of BeamNG.drive is to simulate soft-body physics for land vehicles. It does support air vehicles, but that's not the developers' main focus.

There's a section for air vehicle mods on the forums, if that's what you are looking for.

This is not a spelling/grammar test.
Respect that not everyone are native English speakers.

Being a grammar nazi is so 2013 anyway.

They confirmed it won't happen because they're aiming for full realism for land vehicles.
But they support and enjoy the fact there are very well made plane mods you can install to your game

Those are some links, I don't know if they work with the 0.17 update but you can try them!

You misunderstood my intent. I am not trying to bring them down, rather show them how to improve. I am actually working on becoming an ESOL instructor. If correcting someone in my future ESOL class is dsisrespecting their native language, then why bother having ESOL at all? I didn't even assume or care about their English background. Simple grammatical errors come off as childish or unprofessional. I also disagree that this is not a grammar test. Everything anyone says or writes in English is a test, with the proctors being native level speakers. Every native level English speaker will judge someone for a mistake, just as you judged they must not be a native speaker. And yes, most of the time, a grammar mistake will not impede successful interpretation, but sncie tihs is aslo udnreastdnlabe, we sohlud all slpel lkie tihs, rgiht? as someone currently learning a foreign language, I would personally like someone pointing out when I am wrong so I could improve. if you would prefer, I could break it down and explain why 'there' and 'an' are incorrect here, so it doesn't come off as nitpicking for a shallow sense of superiority. This is off topic, so I apologize. let's just get back to the thread.

One problem is that since airplanes and helicopters tend to be traveling much faster than cars when they crash, it is much harder to simulate airplane and rotorcraft crashes. Metal becomes very... odd at those speeds, and Beam currently does not support tearing or shearing of parts except in certain special cases. Furthermore, we barely have composite material simulation at all, much less a basegame vehicle using say fiberglass or carbon fiber exclusively or significantly. airplanes tend to use a lot of composites in their construction, meaning that while beam is great for low speed collisions involving metal objects, high speed collisions and composite objects are harder because in both these cases, materials tend to shatter instead of bend.
