Does anyone have a code i can use for the pickup that will make the tires not burst? Im using the JATO on the truck and cant find any ties that dont burst at around 400mph.
Before you mess with game files try switching to race compound. If that doesn't work then the file you need to edit should be "Jbeam strength" IIRC. I recommend you make it an option so it doesn't overwrite all of the tires.
Because that's not realistic. The tires burst just like they would in real life after you cross a certain speed
Are you actually suggesting that every single mod for this game is "realistic" and me asking for this is just way out of the normal that i must be told about how wrong i am to want this? lmao. And also they do have tires that hold up to that speed and well over. Hence why vehicles can go over that speed. Some even use metal disc which also isnt a mod. So what im asking for... is not only realistic... its actually a real world problem people have solved. --- Post updated --- Where is that file located? I agree, not all mods are realistic. Like indestructible JATO bus, I've never seen one of those in real life... If you wanna tweak tires I suggest creating /vehicles/common/tires folder in your beamng document directory and copy over some of the official stuff from the zipped files in your installation folder (beamng/content/vehicles/common.zip has the same structure you should mirror in your documents if you want tweak some stuff).
