Fatal error: GPU is not responding

    Hi, I've recently bought and installed BeamNG Drive but recently its been acting up. No lag, no crashes when I spawn anything either, but when I crash a vehicle and press R to reset the physics, the error comes up saying Fatal error: Gpu not responding. I've tried looking at other threads but it was no help. I use an Intel UHD Graphics 630 as a graphics card and no lag but it keeps crashing.

    Does the game crash when you load in another vehicle? Does the game crash when you load a vehicle state from the radial menu? if not, then one or both of those could be temporary workarounds for you while this issue is fixed.

    Heya, if you have submitted a report I would have already gotten back to you on this! If not though, give this link a look: https://www.beamng.com/threads/igpu-intel-crashs-how-to-switch-steam-branch.64298/

    It details this being an issue with Intel UHD 620/630 cards.

    Other reasons for this to happen always end up being a downloaded mod causing issues, either it hasn't been updated to work well with the new release, or it is just conflicting with another mod! :)

    Its almost finished downloading or changing that setting in the link you posted. When it's done, I'll try it out and see if it works. Il be right back to you guys.

    Most certainly overclocking your hardware will cause issues with performance. Overclocking includes a lot more than simply changing a slider in a software package, the software will always explain that there can be issues when overclocking. =)

    BeamNG is a very processor intensive game, you can try setting an FPS limiter in the game to stop the game from trying to run at the maximum possible performance of your machine. If I load the game without an FPS limiter, I can get over 4000fps at 4k in the main menu. The computer has no reason to render it at that rate, BUT with the option set to do so, it will. If I have an overclock on my machine, it will run at 4100 or 4200 or 4400 fps, basically until the hardware fails due to over heating. :)

    Thank you so much! Working perfectly now. I could see a change in performance but not that fatal. Thanks for all the help, if there are any more problems I will make a new thread. Thanks again!

    I have the same nvidia issues as stated by others above. I am not overclocking anything on my rig, so overclocking is not the issue.

    Thank you very much it works now but i am in 0.16.0.3.8498 (I do not have the bluebuck now) and the maps are loading only the half.

    Heya, are you running the latest drivers, and is your Windows up to date? The only nVidia related crashes that I have seen so far are from people running broken mods, or mods that don't get along with each other, or running outdated drivers or Windows. =)

    I have the same problem but it says error with gpu and I cant even reload or crash my car because it will say: fateal error with gpu. also i dont use mods.
