Exactly! Also, it is reasonably priced, which is more than I can say about the Acura.

BMW engine has a one-piece cast iron block with 98mm bore spacing
UZAM-412 has an aluminium block with removable cast iron cylinders and 104mm bore spacing
Also no parts are interchangable, maybe pistons, dunno the piston pin sizes

 

The 412 engine is actually based on purely Soviet engineering with inspiration from several engines. The only interesting thing about this engine is that engineers that created it were the same ones that forced Fiat to create an OHC engine for Lada, instead of using the old OHV Fiat engine.
