Been following this thread for a while now. I have to say great modelling and terrific work pace! Nice car choices too you could still improve a bit materials and rendering, if you wanted to, but the way you have it now sure does the job. I could maybe give you my universal paint shader if you use cycles. The last renders with the interior are really cool, is that an add on for the sectioned views? The beetle looks promising Edit; just watched your monty video and I'm very impressed, particularly at the materials and textures for the lights and such. Very good attention to detail and efficient methods. Everything seems perfect, yet when I see your final renders something feels weird, but I can't really put my finger on it. It might be a mix of lack of perspective, slightly weird paint shader, and maybe the wheel placement. But modelling sure is near perfect. Good job and keep it up
Ha, thanks. I've kinda moved to Eevee, just works so fast and looks good enough for me. But thanks! I'll try to improve my materials and renders over time. --- Post updated --- Oh, and btw. When I don't have any jobs to do, I think I'll start modelling my own original designs (like you do), first I want to do a modern SUV, and possibly get a moder on board to get it in beam, if I ever get that far.
This would be more sick if someone was willing to make this in real life, would really be a pretty cool track racer.
finished the inner wheel wells, made half shafts, stated making the top duct and did some stuff around the fuel cell area.
