It was the lightweight lift in both pictures. The first picture was the default D-Series with the C channel frame (standard frame). You can see the whole truck bending and the regular tires being squished to death . The 2nd picture was with a box frame (heavy duty frame), and the other stuff I mentioned. You can see no chassis or bed deflection, and even though I forgot to set the tires to 80 PSI (think they spawn @ 30 PSI default...which is very underinflated for a load range E tire), they handle it much better. I tried to move the heavyweight lift. First on that BeamNG tandem axle trailer, and it broke off the loading ramp every time. I set it there manually with world edit, and it turned the frame into a taco and totally destroyed the trailer. With the D-Series in a tow setup, it's not too hard on the suspension or frame, however there's too much weight out past the rear axle and it does a pretty bad wheelie. If there was a longer bed, it would probably tow it just fine. Maybe if I loaded it ballast end first, also.
Yes that's a bit over the tow capacity of the D-Series haha. Based on the 90s Chevrolet 1500s, the standard D-series that spawns in probably has a tow capacity of 4,000(4.3 V6) 6,000 lbs(5.0 V8), and the normal forklift weighs 8125 lbs (3685 kgs), with practically racecar 50/50 weight distribution! (it's about 50.55/49.45). I'm not surprised to see it collapse the suspension so much, it really doesn't belong there. Just trying to live out the Rigs of Rods days, loading the bobcat into Box5Diesel's 1st gen cummins truck.
Oh you weighed the lighter yet ? Cool Yeah that's (by 'that' I mean the suspension stuff) also why you see the heavy one more like dancing on its feet which actually in real life is also detectable on those heavier forklifts and container stackers..
@Yota slightly off topic but maybe you like Base model, base engine & clutch, low range box, heavy duty R axle, solid F axle, heavy duty frame aand muliplied the nodeweight from the hood x100 to keep it's nose down The engine and clutch are not to happy (especially on low rpm) and the dolly isn't either, trailer is just fine Total mass about 35.5000 kgs, the scale weight isn't live in the replay but remembered the highest weight anyway edit : oh I'm doing this in 0.15.0.3 btw
