Again: is there a way to get the config file for the previous Custom (18" wheels, MT swap?) I have some idea of what parts were used but if the suspension setup was at all altered from default simple part swapping won't replicate that.

 

Burnside doesn't seem to be a luxury brand, more of a midrange one.

 

We have Bruckell and Soliad. Personally, I view Burnside as being simply a spin-off marque for Gavril's full-size lineup in the 50's and possibly early 60's.

Anyway, we need a 1977-1989 Marshal/Grand Marshal. I imagine it would look like an LTD Crown Victoria...

Early engine options were an I6 and a 291 or 353 CI small-block. In 1985, the I6 was replaced by the Bruckell 3.8 with throttle-body injection, and the 291 and 353 got fuel injection as well. For 1989, the 3.8 got multi-port injection.

Such a car is practically mandatory for a game like BeamNG.

Concerning the idea of a 1980's GM/Beufort... It would be nice (the name being another question, being that either would make sense), those big square tanks are iconic vehicles and would be great cheap career mode vehicles for any sorta destructive events and even a quirky drag car. I certainly hope to see one some day, but it isn't what the game needs now. With career mode coming up (whether it ends up being as close as the 0.15 dev blog suggested is yet another another question) we need A) cars from other countries to work the variety up and B) cars that are good entry level track cars. Neither of which describes a 1980's American fullsize tank-yacht.

 

We need to go older. 1920's Gavril's.

 

I think another vehicle poll needs to be made after the soliad. But what the devs do themselves is fine too, i like digging for info. :] Reddit peeps ya know....

 

The Moonhawk is already pretty close in terms of size, performance and construction.

 

So what does everyone think the GM needs now? How about adding a diesel V16? Because even that would be more on topic than this...

 

I'm pretty sure diesel V16s actually existed at one point, V12s definitely, but getting a big rig engine to fit in a sedan like the GM might be difficult.
