Hirochi SBR4

Maybe to avoid confusion? Since it can be difficult to tell whether the car is on or not from 3rd person view. Plus, what difference does it make really?

An Electric car doesn't have ignition switch, you disable the electric motor(s) by shift into N or P.

Sorry to continue, but EV's have ignition switch. Please just not post lies. Opinions are fine, but not lies about something, please. At least say : "I think" in front of the sentence, like you posted looks like you know it for sure, but no you don't

 

I think default0.0player meant ingame.

In real life while certainly not an "ignition" switch electric cars certainly have a power on/ready to drive switch. They also tend to alert you to the fact quite emphatically... which makes a lot of sense because in a world where driver and pedestrians alike are used to "a car is only active/dangerous when you hear an ICE idling" one cannot warn the driver and even pedestrians enough about that significant acceleration is only one wrong feet command away.

I am sure sombody already has scrapped a brand new tesla because he wanted to do a "dry" test of how much you can depress the accelerator.

 

I very much doubt that. It is quite easy to tell if the car is on from the drivers seat, for starters, the guages and giant touch screen being turned on would be a pretty large clue. Then of course, unless you are "in gear", the car ain't moving anywhere.

 

Our household has a tesla, it does not have ignition switch. Just a single on/off at which point touchscreen comes on, and a park/reverse/drive selector.

Certain touch functions are locked in drive/reverse. But otherwise its quite a small icon

However, the car did come with "creep" enabled by default, aka, put it in drive and release the brake, it will inch forwards like an automatic does. It also doesnt allow selection of driving mode without firmly pressing the brake.

My contract with BeamNG was a temporary one, and ended almost a year ago. My badge and permissions are just now following suit.

 

Does anyone know where to find the showroom from the SBR4 release video?
I'm aware that this question may had been answered earlier, but unfortunately I don't have enough time to scroll through 10+ pages of discussion to find the answer.

 

Unreleased internal map entitled "Car Dealership". Referenced in the game files as a "Car dealership on the East Coast of the United States", however it was never released.

I would not be surprised if some form of the map or a similar map releases alongside career mode though.

 

Thanks for answering, I was hoping it's a part of some map as there aren't any showrooms in the vanilla game AFAIK. The one at the ETK Driver Experience Center is nearly impossible to use for making screenshots, as a car gets "dragged" out of the building once it's spawned inside.

 

West Coast, USA has two, and you can spawn cars inside both.

I have a question. I have been playing Beamng.drive for about one year now, and i think that the game is really good. My problem is that i cant spawn the Hirochi SBR4. When i spawn the car it says "Engine disabled". Can someone help me?

 

Mod related. Disable all SBR4 mods and try again.

 

You probably have a mod installed that's causing the issue.

 

is it me or is the SBR4 really hard to drive?, this thing just doesnt wanna drive straight, it slides left to right like an old american muscle, cornering with this is also not easy while it wants to drift the back all the time...

2. the car is rear weight biased, so it's definitely going to have a bit of a "pendulum" effect.

 

i know but this still doesnt explain why its hard to just drive a straight line without it boating around
