That's not something that can be "just" fixed. The devs are improving it all the time, but it may never be perfect
It's not that simple, bud. This issue has been around since the early days. My advice is patience because they still are trying to make the crashes as realistic as possible, but some things don't come as easy as they would like. That being said, welcome to the community!
i got an idea for crashes but it could murk frame rates what if when you crash a car, actual solid debris that isnt a texture that would fly anywhere like shattering glass or fiberglass
It really depends on how you crashed the cars, there's lot of variables in there. You could have crashed the car so hard that they pieces are deforming into each other, making them grab. Imagine a car folding into a tree, that's the same thing that could happen if you do a head-on collision between two vehicles. Said that, sometimes it can simply happen that if you crash two cars together at very high speeds, the steps of the physics are not enough (despite being top class there) to solve what's happening, allowing a node to go through another object. This although has been constantly improved over the years, and it's very evident if you directly compare old and new versions. This is an old video, it has been improved much further since then:
