Dynamic Reflections: active object is not visible.

    As the title implies, the active vehicle parts aren't visible in the dynamic reflections. As funny as it sounds, I'm using BeamNG to practice parking... and mirrors is the only problem.
    Example, you can see the world and other objects being reflected instead of the vehicle's interior parts.



    Can't see the active vehicle object in mirror reflections, but again I can see other objects.


    I haven't seen any setting for it, so it must be hardcoded in the engine to ignore the active object. The only reason I can think of why it was disabled, it's to prevent reflected objects to reflect again, which will tank the framerate. Limiting reflections to 1-2 passes might be the only way to save performance.
    Soooo, BeamNG devs, can you please add a toggle to enable active objects visilibity in dynamic reflections?

    Edit2: I see it doesn't do ray casting or anything physics based, instead uses the camera position to get the reflection angle, moving mirrors around doesn't seem to help. It would need a different rendering tech to have real mirrors. I have no clue, I'm just hammering a nuke with a wrench here.

    Yea, I've already noticed it in the 0.13, maybe it's for reducing the lag(?)

    That's because of how these reflections work.
    The origin of the reflection is the vehicle center.
    Therefore, the vehicle itself is not shown there, as it would block the reflections.
