I have just gone on BeamNG today and yesterday I was running 25-30fps and now I am running 18-21fps. Can anyone help me get back to my original fps rate? (Im running on lowest settings pretty much as I play on a toaster :p)

Playing on windowed mode results in lower fps, maybe that's the case here.

I've always played in the windowed mode though and it has just decreased for no reason

Check your task manager without beamng on and see if background tasks are using CPU.

I get this problem too. Most noticeably grip map.

Its caused by a glitch of some sort in which lights will just continually stack. It will vary too. Sometimes the light wont be so excessive and my FPS shows it and you can visibly see it. Other times its 10x worse then you see in that video, and my FPS directly relates. Many maps also have this problem, as most of them are made with the in game editor.

here is a thread that has a good video of what I mean
