Simulating plastic isn that hard with the current system because plastic hardly breaks, the problem are carbon-, glass fiber and kevlar --- Post updated --- What for?
To get tactile feedback from where the car is relatively to the environment. Racing games usually have such a system that makes the controller vibrate when the car is detected to be going off road. It's useful to have another way of knowing if you're on the asphalt of a racetrack without having to spin the camera around.
This. If it's also added to have feedback on each individual trigger on xbox one controllers that would be best, that's the main difference from me braking too hard and locking all wheels in Forza games
And I once saw a bone stock 2007 Grand Cherokee in similar condition as my 2005 for $17k. I paid $2k for mine. People can ask whatever they want, doesn't mean they will get it.
So the things that might be in upcoming updates: D-series and H-series revamp Bolide rework & Metric gauges (hopefully) Possible Port and industrial Merge and rework Ai fixes and additions More sounds (more turboflutter and exhaust bangs pls) More configs and skins Level editor 2.0 release or updates Lore changes? Bugfixes and performance improvements And the usual fixes and patches and new bugs.
Thoughts: Port and Industrial Site cannot be merged, many roads would overlap and break scenarios and time trials. Many vehicles critically need upgraded as well, the Pigeon especially. Traffic will hopefully see serious improvements, same with the integrated police system. Lore changes would come with career mode, which will be out in some form by the end of the year supposedly. The updated UI could come at some point as well. I highly suspect that there's at least one more brand new level in development, would not be surprised if they're keeping it/them under wraps until close to release to avoid the numerous times people thought that Italy would release.
The developers specifically said that they intended to keep retro-compatibility for all levels. Not sure why some people are so adamant about removing the coastal industrial area on Industrial Site and replacing it with Port. Why not just add more content to both maps?
Edit: After going to the spot where this is from I have changed my initial observation. It's the new steam library which is in open beta (look online on how to enable it). Also I don't believe there are no vehicles that we don't currently have.
