Hello everyone, im looking to see if anyone is looking to do an old body style ford f250. maybe somewhere in the 90s maybe? If not, i was going to try to make it myself. If i were to make that mod, what tools what i need? What kinds of software?
I can't do it myself because of a tight schedule and limited knowledge, but I do know it can be done using Blender and some imported models. For this specific truck, I can't tell you exactly where you can get it from unless you want to do it from scratch. The wiki is getting updated with some more modding tutorials, so look out for that in the near future. There are definitely people on the site who would indeed do this for free, you just have to look.
You will definitely need a lot of Blender/3DSMax/Maya etc. experience to create a model of the car, which will take quite some time. After that, you will need to either learn or get someone who can do good jbeams so the car could be put into the game. After all of that, you would need to learn by yourself, or find someone who knows how to do textures (mainly used for stuff on the interior). It sure does take a lot of time to learn all of it, but in the end it's worth it
