Hardware acceleration for the UI doesn't work

So as the title states, the hardware acceleration for the UI does nothing, the ui still runs at about 20-30 fps, but the game is a perfect 60fps

However, this is not the case when not launched from steam, but i'd prefer to launch the game from steam since i have to redo the resolution settings after alt tabbing rather than using the steam overlay, aswell as my friends do not see me playing and the hours dont count, small problems, but some help would be appreciated

It depends a lot from your specs if you can reach 60FPS or not.
If your GPU is already at strain, you may not see much benefit, or even worse performance.

Said that, you must restart the game for the setting to apply.

i mean, if i dont launch the game from steam it works, and i have restarted multiple times, but i guess i can live with it

Did you set and forget some 'Launch Commands' in Steam for the game, perhaps?
If not, the only thing that could be doing that is the Steam Overlay, but I highly doubt.
Else some program may be messing with Steam, which is also messing with the game when you launch through it.

nope, nothing in launch options, but the game runs smoother overall now when i removed some mods i didnt use (i had 254 now i have 234)
