This is brilliant. Wouldn't mind having a little Bluebuck or Grand Marshal on my desk at work. Is there an easy way to scale it up to, say, 1/24th or 1/18th? Because at that size I could convert it to remote control.
I can make some to order. PM me your interests and we can discuss a good price. As for converting a car into a rc shell, I can try, and have a pretty solid idea on how to do it, let's discuss it further.
That's really neat. Would you be able to tell me how you got the models to a state where they can be printed like that? I now have reliable access to a printer and would like to try do a couple of these for myself but after messing around with the programs you mentioned I still can't seem to get them to that point.
Decided to do a tutorial. Check it out: https://www.beamng.com/threads/tuto...s-models-to-3d-printable-1-64-toy-cars.66160/
Some more done. The half car is a engine printability test made from a LeGran. And if you folks don't mind some cross content, I'd like to say that one of the coolest things on this game conversion / 3D printing thing is being able to re-create your youngtime heroes. Like the most important muscle car ever, made legend by the One Free Man.
Wow! Very impressive! I didn't realize the level of detail you could achieve! I would definitely buy or make one.
For answering that, I need to know, have you ever had something 3d printed on a FDM (filament) machine with no post processing on your hands? Seeing it online doesn't count.
