You have certainly made a great start there, and you chose an excellent car The only thing I have to point out is that there seems to be a bit of a wobble around the wheel arches. You do need to take care here, as you will often use "non-grid" triangles, which can easily give a reflection error if not done right. From what it appears, the bodywork around the arch flare is distorted, whereas it should be continuous and uniform. It appears more so of an issue on the rear arch. It also may just be a rendering error caused by the smoothing of the arch flare before adding in polyrows. If possible, posting a wireframe would be helpful. Also, you may find it easier to model the car in separate parts (ide doors, wings/fenders, bonnet and so on) as it makes the panel divisions more realistic, and you can keep track of all the different parts better. Everyone's technique is different after all, though I do strongly believe that it's better for the model to make it in separate parts as opposed to dividing the one piece up into parts. Anyway, you appear to be a very competent modeler so far, so I strongly encourage you to continue the model, and I'm sure you will learn a lot and end up with a beautiful Monaro This map looks uber. I really love the roads and the nice green trees, it just looks like such a nice place to drive along. I look forward to trying it out
so i think im finally done with this map as i got groundcover working. its like a rally map with two gravel roads and one little tarmac "track". the gravel roads have slight camber in most bends wich is supposed to represent all the cars that have torn up the apexes. (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here) (imported from here)should i release it?
I'm in the middle of making a new map called Car Testing. There will be courses to drift, courses to race, and of course courses crash. Msurf15 - - - Updated - - - yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I gotta clean up the polys. I only started this last night. Very much a WIP
You are so far beyond stupid, it's remarkable. You added some bolts to the diff cover, which doesn't exist because they're Currie 9 inch housings, move the hydro ram a tiny bit, and call them yours? EDIT: So all you changed was the hydro and diff center section. Get my parts off of it now.
First I'm not freaking stupid kutch!! And I used yours as an idea. :| - - - Updated - - - Btw I changed the hydro to my own stander.
Even to the point where you keep the knuckles at the same rotation? Are you doing that same tracing shit that Nadeox did a while back?
