Well, that could be a possibility, but for now I´m going to skip the drag version..! Today I didn't feel like doing JBeam stuff so I started modelling the 5 door model:
Will the 5 door be very different? As in will parts be interchangeable or will everything be different between the two?
Most parts should be interchangeable as the general shape is the same for both the 3 and 5 door versions. The wagon model will be a lot different though.
That version will be possible to build using the parts selector. Maybe once this version is finished.
Ive seen fwd drag cars lol. itll be fun still. pop it into reverse and slam the gas. do a little reverse wheelie. Either way, still cant wait for the release, looks amazing so far
That is the plan yes, still got to learn on how to do some proper textures, as my current ones look rubbish.
The proper WRC focus was so different from the road car there would be no point making it. It would be quite easy just to throw on some rally tires and make a FWD rally version though, just as a config.
Great work so far! Just a piece of advice: the line on the fender actually continues down to the bottom of the bumper and the plastic fog light inserts are a bit narrower on the non-ST model. See the attached picture.

This mod looks whacky, but it has a lot of potential! Fixing the black Ford logo would be a 1st if i were you. Anyways, good luck with finishing the mod! I cannot wait to download it and, of course, jump of a cliff with it.
