Porting Automation engines into a Beam NG car?

    Is it even possible to port an Automation created engine into a BeamNG car (in the hopes to keep the good engine sounds)?

    not automatically, you'd have to do it yourself. it's quite simple though. make these folders:

    Code:
    "MOD_NAME"
         "vehicles"
              "YOUR_VEHICLE"
                   and copy/paste the vehicle's engine here
    then, inside the "MOD_NAME" folder, copy/paste the "art" folder from the Automation Mod. Then. copy/paste the torque graph, "friction", "dynamicFriction", and "soundConfig" values into the vehicle engine jbeam.

    zip it all up and put it in your mods folder. just be sure to rename your engine and stuff so none of it overwrites original content.

    attached is an example. you can also add intakes and internals and stuff, as some of that stuff may not match the stuff provided originally. again, its as simple as changing values and copying big sections over.

    where do you fine the art folder? I've got the engine complete but don't understand what to do after that.

    anybody can do a tutorial of portin engines of automation for beamng? im trying to port engines but i can´t do that :(

    Ask a mod to change it. My birthdate was wrong and with a simple dm I got it corrected.

    Alright, I get what you are talking about for the most part, however if I wanted to port the engine into BeamNG vehicles, do I have to type in a certain code on the "your_vehicle" folder? If yes, can you please provide the names? Also, I want to import a turbocharged engine, what code should the turbo code be? Btw here's my original automation game file (based on the VR38), can you please lend a helping hand?
