If a tire breaks off (On the Subaru at least) it will keep spinning when you give it gas. It's pretty funny when you put it in 5th and floor it. The thing just goes berzerk. It leaves circle skidmarks everywhere it goes too.
-Pikes Peak currently has a bug that is impossible to fix for us. When skid-marks are on, as soon as you skid, your FPS will go down a lot. There is a fix for this: Note: This is a very easy and quick fix, but IF you save, you will NOT see skidmarks in BeamNG again UNTIL you put the value back, in the same way. If you do not save, you will have to do this quick-fix every single time you load this particular map. 1: Press F11 2: Find this "Decals Editor" button in the top left: View attachment 28293 3: Press tireTrackDecal 4: Put "Size" to 0: View attachment 28294 odd I didn't do the pikes peak bug fix, but I don't have the bug at all... I cant help feeling there will be a few nasa called jokes here
This pack is fantastic fun and looks great. One thing I have to complain about though is that none of the cars actually drive straight according to the model. They can all drive perfectly in a straight line, but the car model is not perfectly straight when doing that. It's like all the models are slightly misaligned. Here's an example with the Subaru: The first picture is how it looks from above in a perfectly straight line, the second picture is how it should be. This is the same on every car in the pack. Edit: So I tried the cars for the first time on the vanilla Grid map and there they drove perfectly fine with the model actually pointing where you were heading so it might've been the map I was on previously that caused the weird misalignment issue.
The Polo doesn't turn... at all. If I drive straight, the wheels turn inward, and they turn inward more so as I go faster. The Impreza works fine, but there so something seriously wrong with the Polo.
if that happens, then attach the steering via the ctrl+w menu, then reset in place (ctrl+r) and it will work
Is it just me or does the inside of most of them look terrible. Like do i have to turn up my graphics or sumthing cus it just looks like smudges.
subaru error the evo works, but every time i try to load the subi, the game crashes. it could be because i renamed the folder. has this happened to anyone else?
Re: subaru error If you rename the folder you need to rename the dae and the base jbeam file, simple solution is to not rename the folder in the first place
this is a great pack of cars and tracks. but one thing i have noticed is that on the pikes peak map the traction is pretty bad on the road. but idk if this is something you already know or are working on.
Honest question: What's so fun and appealing about driving a car in super speeds? It's so...uncontrollable and too fast to be fun, atleast for me.
