They’ve said that they won’t expand into air and sea vehicles. East Coast USA has a sign with a tractor on it, I’d be surprised if we saw a tractor anytime soon.

A Civetta tractor would make me SO happy, not many configs, not really big model/jbeam (like the pigeon), the only thing that seems complex to do a tractor in beamng is the model especially the engine but without that, it would make a perfect little car to add as an april fools joke :D. Im getting a little bit off-topic with this suggestion but that's still a type of """car""" that we don't have in beamng

Figured I would just point out that we're missing a 90's American sports / muscle car / pony car. Perhaps something similar to the SN95 Mustangs, or the F-Body Camaros / Firebirds.

I think the whole talk about an official BeamNG tractor goes back to what @ManfredE3 said here.
I think he meant this as a joke, but honestly, I see it as a really, really good idea.

An official tractor made by Civetta would add some interesting lore to the game, while providing another fun vehicle to play with. One interesting fact about Lamborghini, is that they also produce tractors too. There's Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A., which produces what most people recognize Lamborghini for, very expensive high performance supercars, and then there's Lamborghini Trattori, which produces tractors, and if I read correctly, predates Automobili (Trattori in 1948, Automobili in 1963), which would mean Lamborghini made tractors before they ever made cars like the Miura, Countach, Gallardo, and Aventador. In a way, I can see where it'd be hard for people to believe that producing farm equipment is another thing a company notable for producing expensive cars for rich people does.

I'd find a Civetta tractor to be a lot like the Hirochi piano in a few ways. And honestly, if we were to ever get a tractor, I'd want it to be a Civetta.

Half joke. It is something I want to see and honestly think it does have a place in the game, but I would be surprised to see it. I would also only want it to be a vintage Civetta because anything else would feel out of place to me on those small Italian vineyards. And it would be cute.

A slow, incredibly dumpy-looking car which is inferior to western designs in every way but is basically indestructable. If it's anything like the Lada, then it has alright power for its size but only by taxed-to-death European standards, mainly due to a single bolt-on part which frees up a ton of power potential once replaced by a capitalist racing modification. (Carburetor, if I remember correctly).

    Here's a hint:

    upload_2019-10-29_21-53-19.png

Can you guess my favorite colour?

To be honest, I wasn't planning it that way originally, but I got to the third picture or so and realized that I was finding really good copyright-free images of yellow vehicles, so I took the ball and ran with it.

When I think of the Russian motor industry, the first thing I think of is usually the Zil-130 in its iconic blue and white:

As for Passenger cars, my mind goes to the Lada/Vaz 210x-series, which to my mind is the quintessential Russian car. Then the Lada Niva, in no small part due to the fact that several surviving export models are rolling around my town in semi-restored condition. I always remember the name of the Moskwitch, but never what it looks like.

I believe (and will readily admit that I am wrong if that turns out to be the case) that the main features of most Russian cars are:
    • Very squared-off body with a minimum of creases, curves and body lines. Fenders are less rounded to prevent the buildup of the thick russian mud, and always equipped with mudflaps
    • Simple construction inside and out to allow for ease of manufacturing and ease of reparability with simple tools.
    • Loose tolerances inside the motor, making for easy repair, lubrication, and smoky burning of oil.
    • Generous amounts of steel used in the design and construction of the vehicle, resulting in rugged frames, big stiff springs that handle being heavily loaded with cargo, and thick, seemingly meteorite-proofed body panels that resist bending from straight (and, if bent, resist straightening).

If I have time and I'm in the mood, I'll think of the SARB Start, though I know so little about it that I'm not certain whether it was just a prototype or made it into production. Van with fins!

gee, the back end is a 1960 Ford hardtop, the front end is a mix of 59' fords and Chryslers and the cab is a white fire truck. Great combination... real stylish haha

Is it ok to give any clues (make them incredibly vague) e.g what Continent is the vehicle from? Drivetrain layout? Monocoque or Body on frame?

    Google ain't evil.

As for the thick steel and flat panels: the steel was thick because it was bad, and flat panels were fashionable back then.

Or post a picture. That didn't hurt the hype for previous cars, or maybe even increased it.

Old post but just gonna clarify: Rotary was never intended for the Delorean iirc, might be mistaking it for the Pacer.
EDIT: Wow! I was, as usual, incorrect. the original prototype was, in fact, intended to use the Wankel engine. I have the small brain.
