Now call me uncultured, but the Hyundai Kona is the coolest ride of 2019 so far. I mean, five star euro encap? Check. Just past 3000 pounds? Check. 175 Horse gamma motor? Check. Quirky, creative looks? Mc-Triple check. I feel like crossovers are growing on me and I don't know if I like it or not. Still don't like the new Blazer, screw that noise. It'd be cool if it actually looked like an old K-5 (Big ol' box, like the new bronco) and only had AWD. Also a V-8 of some kind (Maybe a diesel?) would be nice.
Personally I think the LC500 is a little bit cooler. Even though its a bit of an odd looking car, I do really dig it. I think the following get honourable mentions I'm not sure if the A110 should be classed as cool or not. I think its a great looking car, and what it stands for is certainly very cool. But I don't know if people in the street would look at one and think its cool. But, if you are trying to impress car people, its very cool.
Personally I really hope they depreciate heavily. Just had a look, in the UK they are starting at £48k for a manufacturer approved model with 20k miles (with a 1yr Lexus Warranty). Not too bad I guess. Assuming its a base model, that's at least 1/3 off the price after 2 years. Nothing like loosing £25k over 2 years of ownership I guess
The LC500’s also probably pretty reliable if Lexus’ badge says anything for it. I saw it at an autoshow when it was new and I loved the way it looked. Will be a used car mega bargain in a few years.
After the Bronco, the Mach E is another one I've been waiting for its reveal. I am hoping Ford won't make the same mistake Mitsubishi made with the Eclipse Cross, where they they took a sports car and turned it into something it's not. I am perfectly fine with it being completely separate from the Mustang.
I continue to dream about an engine swap for my Grand Cherokee. 206k miles, 7.9mpg, and genuinely dangerously bad throttle response; I think it's fair to want an upgrade. It's got the 4.7L and Quadra-drive II; a 5 second google seach leads me to believe that a 5.7L will bolt up to everything relatively easily. The problem is the only engine swaps I've done are on speedboats and go-karts, which aren't exactly the same league as a hemi swap... Although a hemi speedboat does sound fun.
How modern is it? Becsuse if its quite new it wont be plug and play because of the diffrent electrics.
Modern SUVs are less sporty and off-roady. More and more of them use unibody that has a high CoG than body-on-frame. And more of them using energy-inefficient open differentials rather than limited-slip or locking differentials. I doubt this vehicle has a good 4WD drivetrain.
Fucking deer ran out in the middle of the road As for more info, that’s a ditch that drains a well. It’s extremely muddy, and it was extremely stuck.
Yikes! That's why they invented winches Hope you're doing okay, and less importantly, hope the 4x4's okay. Has anyone here driven a Dacia 1300 or any variant thereof? What was it like? I'm thinking of someday importing one for an electric conversion. The reason I don't want to just get a Renault 12 is because only Dacia made a 2-door. Edit: never mind, it's a pile of junk
