A V8 engine with a turbocharger attached to each cylinder. Now that would be horrible.

Also, using gasoline as coolant isn't a good idea either.

...or using gasoline in a diesel engine. Unless you like wrecking engines.

 

I've seen a picture of a V8 with a turbo for each cylinder. It's as dumb as it sounds, but it's been done.

One of my bad ideas is just to run engine oil instead of coolant in the case of a blown head gasket.

Another one of my bad ideas is to build at 8.5 foot long motor bike frame and affix a lawn mower engine to it. I haven't quite gotten to the lawn mower engine part yet, but the frame is probably 60-65% finished. It rolls.

Hmmm.... bad ideas....

a quad turbo, 2-stroke, 2 cylinder engine, and one cylinder has 2 pistons in it, and the entire thing uses a wankel pre-compression chamber.

 

Overdrive a 5w speaker with 30w. I did that once and things got smoky.
