Samsung software is “eh” at best and crap at worst. That goes for everything: Android skins, watch OS’s, TV guis... They’re seriously not fantastic at it.
I prefer Samsung over other android ones like Huawei and Google itself because theyre products tend to last longer both of the Huaweis we owned turned slower and slower until they bricked themselves the same with my Nexus Tablet wich got a new update and then got so slow that starting would take half an hour and you had to recharge it every 2 hours or so. The only android tablet that lasted longer than a Samsung one is a Lenovo one wich i really liked because of the built in beamer.
I have found my Op3 to be doing well in that regard. Still feels almost as quick as day 1. Only issue I have is that it takes a few seconds between hitting record, and actually recording video.
There's nothing more heartwarming than watching a kid who saved every penny buy a new graphics card. He came into my place of work today and started asking some questions about how to get the most out of his system. Naturally the conversation turned to what he currently had. 3rd gen i5, a little bit of RAM, and a GTX 660 non-Ti. He was wondering what he could have done to help make his system perform better in a "this afternoon" sort of fashion. I have the luxury of being able to sell RX 570 at around $140 USD. It's a killer card at the price and I fully believe that no one should look elsewhere unless they absolutely NEED the PCIe-power only GTX 1650. If they can spare an extra PCIe power, but the RX 570. The lad got really flustered at the sheer performance increase he would be seeing for only $140. Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Side note, you can run an 8-pin card off of a 6-pin power plug. The official spec for 6pin PCIe is 75W, but the official spec also leaves a pin as no connect. Most PSU manufactures supply +12v to this pin, raising the spec to around 120W. All the official 8-pin spec gains are certain +12V to the no connect, one ground, and a Sense-B wire.
RX 5700, RX 590 or Vega 56?? I'm not going to be playing above 1080p but I want to run ultra no matter the game. I'll buy used but i have a budget of 250 max.
Ok, I have an NVIDIA GeForce 1050ti with 4 RAMs and i cant get full graphics on beamng, at least 40fps Why or any Graphics Cards that are super cheap. (also would i have 16gb ram would this affect the frames too)
Then don't run the game at full graphics. The 1050ti is a pretty good card, if you are running at 1080p it shouldn't be an issue, just make sure you don't have dynamic reflections cranked.
Thank You i Double checked to see if i could allow more RAM and that seems to be working a bit better but dynamic reflections realy makes my computer hot even with i being watercooled.
Hey guys, back again and I changed my mind again. Instead of a Ryzen 5 2600 I'm thinking of going with a Ryzen 7 2700x bundled with a b450 tomahawk motherboard from microcenter, they have some good deals. I have seen however that the ryzen 5 3600 is actually better than the 2700x for gaming, despite having 2 fewer cores. What would you guys recommend? Would the two more cores be better for Beamng? Also, does computer hardware actually go on sale during Black Friday or is it generally just peripherals? What places generally have the best deals? still sticking w my original plan of getting a 1070 used though
Most games don't use the cores, they use like 4 cores a most,at which point the 3600 being faster per core is better for gaming. Beamng you would have to be going into the 6-12 vehicle range to see the benefit of the 2700
just checked the bundles on microcenter and it seems that I would need to get a better motherboard, bringing it to a minimum of $400 for a mobo and cpu. I'll just go with the 2700x and a b450 tomahawk for $240 and spend the extra money on a better monitor and ssd.

To be fair it's an extremely small team working on a 100% Windows compatible OS without patent infringing. So it doesn't suck... more not done. Incredibly not done. They even say to just not bloody use the thing.
Linux has some really weird password quirks too. Last year when I tried putting Linux on my dads laptop, the password must have been mistyped because it wasn't what he had written down. Turns out that even myself, a non-linux user was able to google my way into getting into the OS without a password, and then using that access to reset the password of the main user account. Which to me sounds like something that shouldn't be possible, but it seems that most OS's by default are pretty bad at protecting user accounts. Of course with it being Linux, I am sure you could lock it down properly if you know what you are doing. So my somewhat naive point of view is that if you are relying on your operating systems authentication for security, you are doing it wrong.

Hi my 9 year old son constantly watches beamng drive on YouTube and would love to play the game himself and wants to buy/build his own pc, we are in the UK is their a basic spec we need to play the game I’ve seen a few bits and bobs on here but there a few years old now and I’m sure things have changed a lot since then. Is it worth buying a basic pc and building up from there or buy all the components separately. Any help would be welcomed.
It kinda depends. If you want a budget setup, buying a pre built can work out cheaper (especially because of Win10 pricing). If you are getting something mid tier or upwards, I would recommend self build. Just be aware that pre built PC's often use non standard hardware, and they usually use low end power supplies that may hinder future upgrade options. Assuming you are aiming for 1080p @60fps, I would say a gtx 1050 will probably suffice, but I would probably recommend a gtx1050ti because you get a bit more umph for not a huge sum of money. For the processor, an AMD R5 3600 would do a very good job. But to be honest, an R5 3500 will do the job without issues too. A system with those specs will also play any game on the market, and look good doing it. To be clear, not maxed or settings, but at high enough settings that reasonably you wouldn't be able to spot the diffrence during normal gameplay.
