Update Speculation thread

I hope we see something like a Swedish Audi Allroad. Pretty unreliable electrically and expensive, but comfortable and built like a tank.

Personally, If we're going to get a modern SUV, I'm going to be a little disappointed, because it would probably end up being a car that like only 10 people would want to use.

A car like a vintage American pickup truck or a 1920's/30's prewar car would be a hit with the community, though.

 

It would probably be used by more people than a pre war car thought. (Not that i want to get into that argument again). Remember all the hype behind the ETK 1300

The Allroad had the V6, the Touareg had the I5.

 

Don't touch to my prewar car ! And tbh i don't drive really often with the ETK 1300 (probably because the automatics transmission in this game and specially on this car makes me crazy)

 

I don’t care. Combine the two! No beamNG car has to be exclusively inspired by or based on a real life one.
I was thinking-
Ingot from GTA+ Allroad+ ‘04 Audi RS6 Avant+ XC70.
Sort of like a watered down crossover mixed with a bulletproof station wagon.

 

Exactly, remember that even the I-Series is a mix between basically everything german, even a bit of Volvo!

 

The Touareg fits your description as much as the Allroad.

I’m thinking more about design language and not mechanics here, but hopefully my new list will give you an idea.
In terms of mechanics- Diesel i4, V6 and I5. MAYBE a ‘GT’ version with a turbo’d V6.

 

Or maybe a Touareg, with the mechanics' nightmare V10 option?

On another note, if canyon.mid isn’t used for the new Utah trailer, I think I might cry.

Bean always uses their own music for their trailer videos, so I highly doubt that would happen.

I would prefer some Western film theme-style song. Something like a low-budget version of Ennio Morricone.

 

the new Utah doesn't remind me of the Wild West much. I'd prefer that sort of chunky, 90's Windows sample music. I think it better encapsulates the new Utah.
On another note, I'd really like to see a Turbo Burger near the tourist center or the spawn area. The current Utah is really under-commercialized, I'd imagine it to be an off-roading and rock climbing hub, but the visitors center is the only thing representative of that.
