Questions about the in-game map editor and map making in general

I have started my own map project and have some questions the need to be resolved so that i can continue the project. The wiki has some guides that I have been following and have done some research of my own like youtube tutorials on making objects, map making, etc, etc. The guides on the wiki are helpful but seemed a bit lacking due to their age and how much the game has been updated since then. I looked elsewhere for answers like Youtube and steam forums. This has led to similar results but with some success and progress on my project. I have pretty much exhausted all the options and am now turning to the forums for advice.

1. The sketch tool, I have been trying to figure out what the heck it does as for the time I have been researching what it does and not really finding anything useful (it is listed under the wiki under Editor Tools but the page for this currently "does not exist").

2. In the Terrain Quickstart Guide in the wiki shows a picture of a drawing of the early planning of Dry Rock Island. I may have gone overboard on how I wanted it to look like until I was mostly happy with it. The problem that I now face is getting that drawing and transfer it somehow into the game (any thoughts?)

As of right now I am at school and I am not on the PC that has Beam on it. So, it may be a bit before I can reply to the comments and ask for help on the questions.

Thanks for letting me know about this I still don't know how I missed it though (could be because I am constantly tired with stupid sleep apnea). I will post again if I have any questions.

 

Iron supplements and mountain biking (over 3 hours forest trails today) helps me with that annoying thing. Iron helps to carry oxygen and mountain biking turns on all sorts of things in body, still tired constantly, but it is not even nearly as bad as without such doping.
