Is there any way to slide "adjustable fifth wheel' upfit ... would come in handy when the front end gets light
I think only way would be to make a mod where fifth wheel assembly is on sliderails and there would be hydros to move it around or something like that. Technically possible, but takes time to create and perfect, not sure if such has been done.
Probably hasn't been done yet. The slide rails and hydro's will also have to be strong enough to haul the heavy loads. Another way could be adding extra configs of course.
You mean the steeringaxle pressure is getting too low and getting trouble with steering? I made a mod a while ago wich comes with an extra heavy front bumper to keep the nose down im not sure if it still work. https://www.beamng.com/resources/lo...smission-for-t-series.3562/update?update=9338
Also it should not break during the crash, especially if trailer coupling is made stronger so that trailers don't come off so easily. It could be new upfit, "adjustable 5th wheel" as you could easily make one by making copy of current 5th wheel and adding new mounting by slidenodes and hydrothings. So rails would be mounted like current 5th wheel is mounted and for current 5th wheel there would be new beams and slidenodes. Well that is what I think it would be without looking how current one is made, so could be 'slightly' more complex to do and actually made to work.
Hope this becomes a vanilla option for the T Series. Rare to see a tandem axle tractor without a 5th wheel slide. Would be cool if it worked like reality, locked it does not slide, unlock the retaining pins and then you just apply trailer brakes and either back up to slide it forward or drive forward to slide it back then relock.
