    Yes, but....

I think it is not quite ready yet either, I doubt that snorkel pipe can be left going trough like that, so more adjustment to even updated ones might happen.

keep in mind that the inner fenders and stuff haven't been changed yet, with the body-on-frame conversion, so I wouldn't be surprised if this gets fixed in the next update.

Yeah, that is kind of point, there is going to be some updates to those bits and who knows how many of the cars gets updated with next update, they might have lot of bits done.

I think the "community lore" thing in general is kind of strange, because it seems eventually we'll get some actual lore from the devs (how long it may take for that to happen, I have no idea), and those people are going to be disappointed that it doesn't match with the obvious parody brand names and either extremely generic or completely unbelievable backstories they came up with. Every thread like that seems to eventually devolve into another Vehicle Suggestions thread, and from the looks of it, the Community Lore thread is flying steadily in that direction. I mean, I get that people like to roleplay (judging by the endless threads and groups based around that genre), but I just find the idea of a group of people essentially writing fanfiction that will inevitably be made irrelevant a bit odd.

Then again, I'm up for the idea that people should be allowed to enjoy what they like as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else, so if you're one of the people who's really into coming up with fictitious car companies (but don't want to buy Automation), then don't let me stop you.

Seems to be going in that direction, sadly. I've been guilty of this, but mostly only inside my own mind by way of looking at fictitious cars from other video games and trying to figure out where they would fit in the BeamNG universe. When I'm trying to "lore up" cars and brands on the forum I do my best to keep things reasonable, taking into account both official content and the highest-quality mods (synsol, 99, and Driv3r get priority here) while still keeping in mind that the Beam brands are their own entities rather than obvious stand-ins for a real-life brand.

The new Pessima is a much better car, it drives better, the V6 sounds great, and it crashes really well.

It's a good representation of a typical car. Good for experiments in that regard.

Old Japanese cars did not end on D-segment.

I see it as something like an old Prince/Nissan Skyline, especially that "sea view ("miramar" in Spanish) is semantically close to "skyline", and there is the GTR-esque GTz model.

    "Scares"?

I can imagine an agreement between two rivals, maybe one with further cooperation struck down by the antitrust law.

There is a scenario called moose test that lets you play around with esc.

I think that a factor leading to the esc "feeling" restrictive is that when playing the game there you miss a lot of forces that you feel when you're behind the wheel (like all the g-forces pushing you in your seat), as the game can't recreate all aspects of driving, no matter how fancy your wheel setup is. This makes it easy to misjudge your ingame speed as opposed to how the same speed feels in a real car

At least TC does act bit odd, but would need quick way to disable TC to be able to experience ESC only. At times ESC is really wonderful, but that is when using brakes, when using throttle TC light flashes a lot with some cars.

Yeah, it is different experience from IRL, but can be car setup and tires related also, if I would have more time, I would be interested to pair my modified TC to vanilla ESC and see what happens.

TC hack I did long time ago just compares front wheel speed to rear wheel speed and makes a cut in throttle if speed difference is greater than set value, very crude and will not work with AWD or more than 4 wheels probably at all, but I like it better with RWD cars. It allows more slip than vanilla, but never really have had trouble controlling car with it:

1200hp RWD SBR4 goes with same settings. Whatever causes current intrusive TC to happen is probably some easy fix, like tune up of parameters, as currently with some cars TC just is not allowing too much slip.

I'm not saying the Pessima isn't good for "normal" car duties, just that it's much less interesting than the 1960's Japanese "kind of sporty" car. I wouldn't put a 5th gen 626 anywhere near a Bluebird on the scale of "interesting".

The Prince cars are closer to the Miramar, but even side by side with a normal size Prince the Miramar still feels brick-like to me. The only time the Miramar strikes me as well proportioned is in a side by side with the Prince Royal limo (Insert vehicle suggestion for this here). It's fine as an almost-luxury street car, but it's just uncanny when dressed up as a hakosuka and I can't imagine it as a rally car. The track car gives me the same feeling that the pre-0.14 SBR did. It's not "bad", but it doesn't feel right either.

It is an imaginable attempt of Ibishu trying to establish a foothold in the performance market by upgrading what they have.
