Really slow download from Ingame and Web repository

Hey folks,

this has been annoying me for a really long time, and I can't find a solution to it.
On both the ingame and web repository I rarely get download speeds above 200 kb/s, whereas I normally get around 7 mb/s

I really don't know what to do about it, maybe it even has to do with my location?

In the attached files you can see a speedtest and my ingame repository download speed (web repository is a little higher, about 140 kb/s)

Id appreciate your help and thanks in advance!

 

Nadeox told that they use CDN in earlier thread of this subject, so download speed should be fast, but I guess that there is something with the CDN or nodes of it, because I have had fluctuating download speeds too and nowhere near 12MB/s that I should get.

Even right now I'm downloading from Steam few games and I get 113Mbps according to task manager, but not even near that comes from repo.

 

Hmm that's weird, like some months ago I got around 2 mb/s and thats fine by me, but from one day to the other, it instantly plummeted...
Like I don't need full speed downloads, but just so fast that I don't have to wait 40 mins to download a map...
But if it's a CDN, the nearest Node may be to far away from me?

 

You are in Germany, their offices are in Bremen, so would think they use some service provider from Germany, but not sure.

Anyway, any CDN should have pretty good nodes in Germany, so I doubt issue is you being too far, but something else.

It could be issue with ISP too if they have decided to limit transfers for some reason.

 

Okay, that would be hella weird, but there is a history of ISPs here limiting transfer to certain websites, but often just twitch, youtube and so on.

Seems like I gotta wait it out then, eh?
