(important stuff is highlighted in bold, but please read everything regardless!)

Hello! As I'm sure you're all aware, BeamNG has recently taken a massive leap forward with the use of the Parsec app and using it to allow for REAL BeamNG.Drive online multiplayer! If you're not caught up to speed, here's some videos I did on the subject:

    1.

    2.

    3.

    4.

So how does this work? Well first you obviously need to get parsec and friend me on it (gameboy3800) if you want to actually join in on the event. Make sure you have a stable internet connection of at least 5mbs+ for optimal playback and minimal latency, otherwise you will just be wasting your time. With the way parsec works, you don't need to have beamng open or even own it, as I'm streaming my game data to you, not the other way around. My pc is pretty not trash, so it should be able to handle a full 8+truck event on even the most demanding tracks without issue.

With enough trial and error, we've figured out that we can shuffle 4 to 5 players controller rights and keyboard rights for a relatively seamless if not a tad time consuming way to get a full lot of 8 people in on a lobby! With even more shuffling around and essentially splitting one large event up into 2 parts, we could even have a 16 player 'World Finals' of sorts if this series goes well enough! (not confirmed, don't ask about it yet).

Assuming we get parsec to work as we wish, here's the actual BeamNG Monster Jam section (probably what you were actually looking for):

So the BeamNG Multiseat Endurance Championship: how do it do?

We will try to do one track each weekend for the month of December starting December 14! To set the racing heats, we'll dogpile into my server and rush to the racing heats group chats after we discuss how things will go down in one of the other group chats. Then I would make a parsec party, and then we would all connect to my pc at 7:30PM EST on Saturdays (possibly Sundays too if we cant get an entire show recorded in one night). TO JOIN MY EVENT, YOU ABSOLUTELY MUST BE A PART OF MY DISCORD SERVER TO BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE RACING HEATS AND ALLOW PROPER COORDINATION!

    (server link: https://discordapp.com/invite/NP97CND).

We will use these 4 tracks: East Rutherford 2012 by @jedipresence, Manchester Custom by @Mike Bevavava, RC Expo Center by @IIII RC IIII , and Gillette 2015 by @docholiday01. I tried to include some OG's and new stars for map making to make sure they all get their chance to shine. Feel free to practice as much as you like on these tracks. But here's the kicker: the track order will be completely random and decided last minute! Should keep competitors on their toes...

This will be a points based system just like real monster truck events. here's how a typical 8 truck field will be scored:
    in racing:
winner gets 11pts, 2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 7, and so on down the order.
    same in tws:
    winner gets 11pts, 2nd gets 9, 3rd gets 7, and downward.
    same in fs:
winner gets 11pts, 2nd grabs 9, 3rd has 7, you know the drill.

to make the 'Endurance' title actually worth something and not just clickbait, for every event you join you get an extra 2 bonus points. So if you can make more than one event, this will inherently give you a competitive advantage. So if you enter all events, you will have 8 extra points added to your score at the end of the series. 7th and 8th place positions DO NOT GET ANY POINTS APART FROM THE FREE EVENT ENTRY POINTS!

All scores will be counted up in the video that will end up getting posted after a few days or so after and put up on a leaderboard on the video, on this thread and my discord server.

Huge for this series: I would like there to be as minimal amount of truck resets as possible. you will really need to watch after your truck if you know what's good for you :) .

So if you roll over in racing or tws, instead of resetting, I will nodegrabber flip you over and you can then proceed back to your parking spot. If you significantly damage your vehicle, see if you can limp it back to your pit area. If you have to reset to make it drivable, you can reset, but at the cost of having to SKIP the next event!
In a real life event, if you lose a wheel or otherwise break after racing, it would take some time to get it replaced and ready to go. So the same principle applies here too. So if you find yourself going out of control, it's best to just hold the brakes and just let yourself fall over rather than leave the hammer down and just risk destroying the truck or grenading the engine (engine damage is likely a mandatory reset, so watch your gear changes and try to avoid using boosted superchargers to help keep the temps more manageable). If you destroy your truck in freestyle, there's no such penalty as its the end of the show. likewise this penalty isn't applied in the pre-recording practice that everyone will get, as that'd just be unfair.

If there's a track that requires changing track variant to get to either TWS or FS, the trucks that were damaged the last event and would've needed a reset to continue must still sit the next event out as if there was no track change!

Why did I choose this ruleset? To keep it more realistic, as BeamNG's achilles heel is the fact that you can likely easily win most events by just holding the throttle down and flipping wildly out of control and hope you can land it. This ruleset should eliminate that!

Next I'll be going over the general rules for each event. This includes truck restrictions, track rules, etc.

Truck tuning restrictions: the use of the BLZ Insane engine and the super boosted 10:71 BLZ supercharger are both banned. The engine should be obvious, but the supercharger I can see being argued; simply put it's pretty much a guaranteed dead motor by the end of a normal racing run. it's banned more for logic than for fairness. The BLZ Insane radiator is also blocked for obvious reasons.
All trucks MUST use standard 66inch tires of any description. So no BLZ racing slicks or other smaller or larger tire size.
besides these, trucks can be tuned in any way you can think of. If you make a specific tune you want to run, please send me the .PC file so that I can load it up on my end and let you drive it when you actually connect to my computer. It's easiest if you send the .PC file to me via discord so it'll be a simple drag and drop to the vehicles config folder (server link is above).

Truck Selections: Because my computer would be the host, you would have access to all the trucks that I have. So if you wanted to see how the new F150 or any other new body looks and drives, you can choose it! If you have a specific truck you want to drive that I don't then you need to send it to me beforehand!

Pre-race/practice: I'll give between 10 and 30mins of free range practice/messing around/chaos to just have some fun before we get all super serious racing helmets on and such. This should help get you used to the controls, camera angle, and the fact that at any moment someone may try to t-bone you at 80mph

Racing: This should be fairly obvious; stay reasonably within the racing lines. Since this will likely be the first time that many people will experience BeamNG multiplayer, there is some leeway here; if more than 3 tires go over the inside turning line, It will be a 5 second penalty. Due to the nature of how we would need to record racing in a 3rd person overhead view of the track, I suggest you practice driving like this on your own time to get used to it.
For the entirety of Racing, the game will be in Multiseat mode so that everyone's in control of their own trucks all the time. So it wont be a case of one person going and then the next and see who gets a faster time. it will be REAL head to head racing! Multiseat mode may be disabled and then re-enabled when it's time for the next racing heat, as the game is flawless and of course works perfectly when we're trying to do something its not designed too_O. After your race, please drive back to your parking spot to clear the track for the next racers. If a truck gets broken and there's debris on the field, I will nodegrabber it back to your pit area to be semi-realistic like that.

To decide who you're racing against, it will depend if you can sneak into one of the racing heats on my discord server when I give the signal. (again, being a member of my discord server is 100% required) Once the racing heats are decided, we can all hop back into a main group chat to allow us all to view and cheer on the other drivers! The winners of Racing Heat A and Racing Heat B will be dragged to Racing Heat C for the final to determine the overall racing winner.

Two Wheel Skills: This will be the normal ruleset; 2 hits to do the best stunts and combos on two wheels or less. Obviously more realism is better. For scoring, all competitors will give their score for each run (minus the one performing), each giving a score from 1 - 10. Their scores will be added up, and then averaged to get a final score. If there's a tie for the lead, whoever is was more realistic will likely be declared the winner. Otherwise stay within the normal track boundaries, plan your moves, and have fun! Remember to not hurt the truck too bad as to not need a reset!
For TWS and FS, Multiseat will be disabled to allow for normal camera and vehicle control. After one truck is done and parked up, I'll tab to the next truck in line. The only downside to this is that EVERYONE would then be connected to that truck, and could sabotage the run. If this happens, the evildoer will be instakicked for the rest of the event. Also, ONLY I CAN Rii A TRUCK! So don't suddenly decide you're in charge of when someone's run is over!

Sometimes there's a bug where beamng will randomly shift gears. The only fix is a hard truck reset. in this case, there will be no reset penalty given as it's caused by this game being of course completely flawless.
TWS AND FS order will be the reverse results of racing (racing winner goes last, 2nd place goes 2nd last, and so on)

After 4 or 5 people do their runs, they will have their controller or keyboard privileges revoked and the rest of the competitors can connect to be ready for their runs. Parsec is also flawless, so if we need to disconnect you entirely to get the others to connect and recognize properly, don't be alarmed. I'll give you a signal when you can re-join to be able to view and judge properly.

Freestyle: Scoring is the same as TWS. Each truck gets 2minutes from the moment they do their first jump or stunt to do the best stunts, combos and WOW moments to impress the other players (judges). Of course filling the whole 2minutes is ideal, so try to aim for that to get the best chance of getting the proper score you feel you deserve.

Overall Rules: If you damage someone ELSE'S truck, they can get a free reset regardless of their truck damage and get no penalty, while you have to keep the damage you inflicted on your own truck. This should keep people wanting to ram into others for literally no reason. This is also why you should aim to limp your truck back to your parking spot should it be damaged, because you never know if you might be able to get a free reset!

    Next is the recording process:
We'll all get connected in a parsec party with my computer as the host. Once we are all spawned in and in our appropriate trucks, I'll full-screen the game for maximum visibility and begin recording. From here it should be pretty indistinguishable (internet speed dependent of course). from your own game running, with hopefully very little to 0 latency. I will not record our voices, only the game audio. so you don't need to worry about accidentally swearing or anything like that. After Racing, we'll stop recording take a break for a few mins. Then onto TWS and another break afterwards if we need it. Then finally Freestyle.
After Freestyle, We may do an encore stunt of some sort. Feel free to throw me some ideas :) .

That should be about everything covered. If you think I missed something, please do not hesitate to leave a comment in this thread or contact me directly either here on the forums or on my discord server.

As much as I'd love to take part in this, I most likely can't cuz I work almost every Saturday and Sunday (and since the holidays will be coming, it just increases my chance of working on those days), and I can only use keyboard, where I also edited my bindings to change the controls to be similar to ROR's and idk if that would cause issues or not. So I'll probably sit this one out, but I do hope this series does well, and do wish the best of luck to everyone

Just like ABgamerX I work a lot of Saturdays and Sundays so I'm going to sit out on this for a little while. Although I'm studying to be able to change jobs soon that won't require weekends (hopefully before spring). The setup and rules are very exciting and I am already looking forward to partaking in an event like this in the future. It looks very promising!

one thing to note: trucks using the new 2014 f250 body are currently at a slight disadvantage as their axles are still WIP. they could of course be fixed by the time it's time to record, or they could not be. feel like gambling:rolleyes:?
