Update Speculation thread

The font looks very modern, so it might be some sort of a recent brand.

Tesla? McLaren? Low-volume trackday car? Something Chinese, maybe?

 

I see the engines have already been started by you ladies and gentlemen, and they are running at high RPMs.

 

If this is what we can do with "Phase One" (Mind you this thing can jump the height of the bus and take it no problems with the new 4 link suspension) I cannot wait to see what we can do with "Phase Two"

I have no idea what the hell has happened, I already tried clearing cache and disabling all mods. I don't know what to do at this point

 

Go to documents/beamng/levels and remove the utah map, that might fix it

 

It's safe to say something will be happening with the shorty. Hopefully we will see a (pre)-facelift too. The pre-facelift would be easy, new bumpers, lights, mirrors, and detuned engines. A 1994+ facelift would be a little more intensive, basically making the Roamer into a pickup. I would be all for an older Roamer too, the old suburbans are cool trucks. I'm surprised how good the 1980's look on the fits on the D-Series now at least, the new chrome bits go a long way.

It's sad that the extended off road got removed but the new "Lifted" config is basically just a better version of it.

I dont think deleting the utah folder that you can find in documents/beamng/levels will break anything. For me it fixed hirochi raceway

First image of the next vehicle! Here is my hypothesis: There are two R's which form a sort of vaguely round shape, creating an S in the middle. While @Randomgamer3210 notes similarities to certain French marques, we have established that BeamNG's French marque will likely be called Charmand, which does not have an R or an S at the beginning. I wonder if this is just an alternate logo for an existing marque. The one line we can see is kind of reminiscent of the SBR4. Hirochi Rotary Sport. Take it or leave it.

 

There could also be a marque above Charmand, something like the DS cars.

Although I think that a Tesla-like electric car is more likely.

 

I'm thinking more Tesla, as the arrows do sort of remind me of the Tesla logo. The hood of the car appears to drop off suddenly, much like Teslas irl, and there's been a ton of development regarding high-tech drivetrains and EVs.

BeamNG finally has an official plane.

I love the tunnel system in Utah, I really hope we see some more underground stuff in other maps. An underground storm drain and train tunnels would be really cool on some other maps.
