Oooohhh that makes sense. Pretty sure BliJo's mod got buggy materials in the update to, fixed them as well.
As I said, modifications were necessary to adapt the car to the russian climate. Reinforced chassis mentioned in the article - November 1966 - wasn't Lada's doing either: cars "arrived in URSS" and were still built by FIAT to strike the deal (Tolyatti plant wasn't even constructed yet) and changes were incorporated in the european 124 as well, at the time yet to be sold. Only market-exclusive changes for the 2101 were mostly suspension-related, plus the engine, the adoption of manual starting crank and drum brakes in place of discs. Sheet metal was reportedly thicker - and heavier - and that's one of the most frequent arguments in favor of the Lada... but what nobody ever mentions is the adoption of cheap and badly-processed steel, especially for the early series, which both lead to the Lada 1500 being ridiculed when it was exported in the West, and to urban legends about FIAT receiving the same subpar steel from Tolyatti as payment and using it to build Lancias that rusted in a heartbeat...
tbh i really want i to crumple easily, and i also wished for the windshield to come off on impact, i noticed that on alot of lada crashes
but you haven't noticed that barely any car mod nor official vehicle has windshield that comes off the impact, i mean it's possible to do it, but.. there's big BUT
Not only that Lada windshields pop out very easily. On a side note this thing will be obliterated when it comes out to the public I will see to it personally
