Thank you! This helps a lot. --- Post updated --- This mod will be marked as on hold until the poll closes.
I'm probably lucky this is still unfinished as of 0.18. That probably means that I won't have texture errors that could be a burden to update. --- Post updated --- Do you guys think the bumper looks better square?
It's looking ok.... I mean the slow process of this mod shouldn't foreshadow failure, but instead lots of learning. Blender is difficult until you get the hang of it. Sort of like After Effects.... It's probably the easiest and most popular at the same time, so you shouldn't have trouble finding answers to questions.
Yes! A cab-over! A very good alternative for the getting old T-Series. I have an idea for a name: Wentward Roadstar Also, is this gonna be a 4 axle or 6 axle?
You should try to avoid triangles where possible, all those faces should be quads. While in Edit Mode, select the parts of your mesh you want to convert and use Alt + J or from the Faces special menu with Ctrl + F > Tris to Quads to convert tris to quads.
This mod has now taken its first big leap. I had the basic shape of the model etched and I exported it as a jbeam. It works, and I believe I can move on to the details.
Awesome! Can't wait to see a T65/75 competitor in game. I myself have been working on a CBE (Very little progress.) and hope to get it out near Aug. 2020. Then we'll have a massive assortment of all kinds of trucks.
That's a good name, but for now, I'll stick to Wentward 2170. Pre-cabover, it would've just been 4-axle. Now, it's probably going to be both.
While thats not a bad idea to have 4 or 6 axles Id like to see a more traditional setup of just 3 axles
