I dont know if this change also affects the Kashiras with electric motors. I think that if it doesnt, it should be added as I imagine that especially a "mundane" power one would benefit signficcantly from this. Wishlist for "mundane" electric motor Kashira Starter Edition: Front 75 HP electric motor, cheap trim, normal suspenion Standard edition: Front 150 HP electric motor, normal suspension. MR-VE: All wheel drive is achieved by having two 75 HP motors at the front and at the aft of the vehicle. Lifted suspension. Performance Edition: Front 200 HP electric motor, sport suspension High trim edition: Front 200 HP electric motor, comfort suspension, high trim High trim AWD: 220 HP with 110 front and 110 aft motor. Street Edition: 2 X 120 HP AWD electric motors, sport suspension Long Range: 1 X 150 HP front motor, twice the battery capacity of the normal one but much heavier. Thank you for consideration and an awesome mod.
I think that electric minivan is too modern for early 90s. It is okay with config that we already have, because it is just swap
We have actually been thinking about adding some lower-power electric motors like that, as the SBR4 ones are a bit much for the Kashira platform. I'm not sure there will be any stock configs that use them, but a stock EV version would be plausible for the time period the Kashira was made, as there were a lot of small-batch EV versions of cars back then. But we probably won't add more than a few motor options, since this is a primarily gas-powered vehicle, and the parts menu is a bit over-saturated as it is... X3
The Kash-EVA is a custom-built vehicle by a hobbist, not a factory one. Those EV variants may be available in 3rd gen(2010-2020) kashira. Also in an EV there's no driveshaft, so RWD is more effiecient than FWD because U-joint energy loss is lower. The front engine bay may be used to place additional batteries.
I wonder what the 2010-2020 Kashira would look like, Shame BeamNG doesn't have more modern vehicles, I would love to see a modern Ibishu SUV, welp this was suppose to quote but it didn't
Just an afterthought: What about an homemade ICE to EV conversion? Most such cars tended to replace just the ICE while keeping transmission and drivetrain the same. Basically a normal car with a normal transmission but with an electric motor instead of a gasoline one. Would fit the theoretical time period of the vehicle even better.
Official new EVs from the factory were somewhat common in the '90s, at least in California due to regulations that had been passed then. Ford, General Motors, Honda, and Toyota all had original EV models or combustion engine swapped cars in the late '90s. edit: Whoops, didn't see Re:Z_IA's post.
wish we got this... I would just add Extreme Edition: 2 X 300 HP AWD, 1 back 1 front,600HP in all. Sport Suspension, Base steering wheel,no racing st. wheels.
Actually we have Kash-EVA with two engines 513 HP on front and 296 on rear. I also tweaked standard engine so we got 272 HP on front and 193 on rear. This version currently don't have any config but might be added. This config works really smoothly and it's not that crazy as Kash-EVA one. On the other hand we have to add much more configs for JDM/RHD variants
what i was thinking of is a super ludacris electronic kashira with 600hp in total,300 back 300 front but as you wish
That’s a known glitch that occurs due to the link-points in the doors overriding the tow-hitch link. The easiest work-around at the moment is just to open both rear doors before attaching the trailer, as that will separate the link points in the doors and the game should accept the trailer link.
