    Focus, therefore hatchback because it was announced. Also the ground clearance is hella obvious. I see where you're coming from though.

    I think the new car is C-segment hatch, probably French. Rear reminds me on Citroen DS5, but the size of car in profile looks smaller. Side line appears like from the new Renault Megane. Curiously, headlights force me to think that they are "stolen" from some new McLaren.
    So, at the end, I think this is a modern French C-segment premium hatchback, like if we had a Peugeot 308, Citroen C4 or Renault Megane version that is competitor of Audi A3, BMW 1er and Mercedes A-Class.
    Also, it's possible that it is hybrid or electric.

    Crossovers are much higher and taller than hatchbacks. Also bottom line of the doors are too low in that teaser than in typical crossover. Also hood and windscreen line don't looks "stretched" like in typical crossover. So it is a hatchback or really strange crossover.
