Update Speculation thread

That topic was not a question of which is better, just which has more visual variety.

 

I think they're really about the same.

Butthurt boomers who can't appreciate anything other than a fucking Model T Ford happened.

 

The newly teased car is almost definitely electric.

 

I'd argue no, it has a grille for ICE liquid cooling.

 

It looked like it was plastic from the trailer which leads me to that conclusion.

 

I again beg to differ, these to me appear to be open slots (with some sort of mesh grille behind them). It also has a grille portion at the bottom of the bumper like a typical liquid cooled ICE car.


Edit: Definitely an open grille, if you look closely at the grille slot 2nd from the left (right side of the car), you will see that it has a porous material in it and you can see slightly through one of the holes.

 

Didnt you see the exhaust pipes?

Its very obvious it is not electric The grill is open too.

Also what the fuck happened to this thread to get derailed into wind turbines and the new car being a crossover?

 

So is it a crossover or a wagon? We already have a wagon, the ETK 800.

 

I'm more interested in what kind of options it'll have. I suspect it will have a choice of four- or five-cylinder engine with optional AWD.

New car looks like a crossover. Looks like a Mazda CX 5 or CX 30.

 

We already went through this.
There is no plastic cladding, traditional of CUVs and the ride height is too low.

 

I don't think that it has to be only a hatch or crossover. I can think of several examples of vehicles being sold separately as crossovers and hatchbacks even though the only major differences are suspension and styling. Here's an example from Subaru:
